Title: FBI Agent at Mike Flynn Interrogation Is Ready to Testify Against McCabe, Strzok and Comey!

On Friday May 11, 2018, Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein  stating Comey testified the FBI didn’t think General Flynn lied.  Grassley also revealed Joe Pientka was the second FBI agent who joined Peter Strzok on January 24th, 2017 in an ambush style interview to take down General Flynn.

Grassley demanded the FBI and DOJ produce the transcript of Flynn’s intercepted calls with Russian Ambassador Kislyak and the related 302’s by May 25th.  (302’s are reports FBI agents take to summarize an interview with a subject.)

The recently unredacted portion of the House Intel report revealed Comey testified to House Intel members the FBI agents who ambushed Flynn did not detect any deception.  The report also revealed the illegal leak of Flynn’s phone call with Kislyak is what allowed the FBI/DOJ to keep a counterintel operation open on General Flynn.

Chairman Grassley is demanding answers from the FBI and DOJ by this Friday the 25th.

In the last paragraph of Grassley’s letter, he requests Special Agent Joe Pientka be available for a transcribed interview with Committee staff:
Accordingly, no later than May 25, 2018, please provide:
1. The information requested in our February 15, 2017 letter, including the transcripts of the
reportedly intercepted calls and any FBI reports summarizing them; and
2. The FBI agents’ 302s memorializing their interview of Flynn and 1A supporting docs,
including the agents’ notes.

In addition, please make Special Agent Joe Pientka available for a transcribed interview
with Committee staff no later than one week following the production of the requested
documents.

Investigative reporter, Sara Carter stated a couple weeks ago that according to numerous law enforcement sources, neither Strzok or Pientka believed Flynn was lying during their interview with him, as reported.  Special Agent Joe Pientka and another “non-partisan” law enforcement officer were  present in the Flynn interview per  Sara Carter’s sources.

Legal expert, attorney and former special investigator, Joe DiGenova, believes that Pientka may be a good cop based on his actions related to the General Flynn case (see video below at the 6:00 mark) –
Chairman Grassley quite properly wants to see the underlying 302 forms of the FBI agents who did the interview, the ambush interview of Flynn, at the White House during the transition period rather shortly after the inauguration.

It’s pretty obvious that Comey and McCabe got together and decided they wanted to frame Flynn because they believed, they believed, believe it or not, that he was a danger to the Constitution, not them. He was a danger, when all he was doing was communicating with people that he had a legitimate right to communicate with, both as a candidate Foreign Policy Advisor, and as the National Security Advisor Designate, and as a National Security Advisor.

So Grassley wants to see the notes of these people and he wants to interview the one agent who was there who was very, very, very serious about how Flynn did not deceive. That agent that he wants to interview is the agent who went to the Inspector General and complained about the conduct of Strzok and McCabe.

At some point the GOP needs to use its teeth to get thing straight or the "Deepstate" and Regressives will not fear the constitution or laws.

In my opinion until many major players are not put behind bars the constitution is dead and so is the "Constitutional Republic"!

I'm also impatient and think this has dragged on way too long.

OTOH, one might argue that Trump and GOP leaders are playing out enough rope to hang a lot of Dems, especially the ones obviously embedded by 0bama at FBI/CIA/NSA.

I admit it's hard to look at how this has unfolded and just explain it all away as "Trump is just playing 8-dimensional chess and will soon make the most awesome move to humiliate and defeat his opponents".

I guess we have been let down so many times by the GOP we just assume it will happen again? My problem this is such a violation of laws that if we do not see many high ranking figure not get prosecuted go to jail there will be no stopping even worse violations down the line.

I don't especially trust the GOP Congress to resolve this farce. Nunes and Grassley and Johnson are trying but just don't seem to have the heft, mostly because so much of it has been handed over willy-nilly to Mueller. They were very foolish not to limit the scope of his investigation sharply.

But Trump has been fighting this steadily and I think he might get it done. I have more confidence that Trump can bring an end to it than that Congress can. Unfortunately, it might makes Trump's re-election prospects pretty distant if he does so. This is why he hasn't done it already.

It might.

Then again, remember this: the American people (myself included) did NOT WANT Bill Clinton impeached for lying about a blowjob. They heard all of the partisan legalistic prattle by the Republicans, but they DID NOT WANT Clinton impeached.

The Republicans did it anyway, and for the first time in one hundred and ninety years, the incumbent President, an impeached lame-duck to boot, gained very heavily in the mid-term elections.

The American people were ignored by the Republicans, and they punished the Republicans in the very next election.

The bitterness went on, too. Newt Gingrich and other Congressmen who had led the charge against Clinton on the basis of his sex scandal, were placed under the scrutiny of the press and the people on an ongoing, ever-after bases, and each major player was himself brought low by his own sex scandal. Hastert, Craig, Gingrich - one after another was called out on his own sexual sins, and defeated politically by a public that neither forgave nor forgot their witch hunt, and their hypocrisy.

The Mueller investigation is now strengthening Trump politically, just as the Clinton impeachment strengthened the Democrats. And just as the Republicans were such stubborn goddamned morons they NEVER admitted that they shot themselves in both feet and utterly destroyed their own leaders - and lost a lot of power - by doing it, the Democrats and the Trump haters are just as stubborn, just as bone stupid, and just as absolutely doomed by proceeding.

We can SEE it developing. The witch hunt, the insanity of the partisans. The people elected this man, and the losers - which doesn't just mean Clinton and the Democrats, but also Romney, Graham and the Bushes can go piss up a rope.

Instead they are doubling and tripling down in self-righteous high dudgeon, and they will lose catastrophically in the next election on account of it.

And then comes the revenge.

I'm not sure it will work for Trump like it did for Xlinton. For one thing, the libmedia was as totally in the tank for Xlinton as they are rabid against Trump.

OTOH, I can't say you're wrong either since the Trump election showed the polls aren't worth crap, at least when it comes to Trump's ratings.

I notice we no longer hear the solemn pronouncements from libmedia figures every election to tell us that is impossible for the polls to be wrong in predicting the outcome of a presidential election. Another complete fabrication that the media peddled about their own polls' infallibility. Trump has really punctured that little balloon by the annoying pundits and pollsters who behave like high priests predicting a lunar eclipse. "It is so, it will be so, because we say so." And then Trump wins the election and makes them all look like total fools.

I am. I feel it in the air. I taste it in the water. The people who elected Trump are glad they did. Other people have warmed to him, and all the right shitheads have lined up against him.

America is a whole lot more like Roseanne Barr than it is like Anderson Cooper.

Trump's party will advance, not retreat, in the mid-terms, but the people who don't like to have people like me telling them what's what will not learn, and will still double down and fight. But their fighting will be like the resistance of the Wehrmacht, or the Japanese. Sure, they're tough and unpleasant, but all their sustained miserable fighting really does is burn up their resources and leave them with less and less. When the odious classes paint targets on themselves and say they're gonna fight to the death, that's great, because it means we get to kill them.

Alas, the voters are probably more fickle than you think.

But maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised.

I won't be a bit surprised. I was right about Trump the last cycle, and I was not surprised on Election Night. I think I'm right this time too, for the same reasons.

The people like him, and the people really actively dislike his enemies.

Their sneering contempt is visible every day, and it makes people support Trump more.

Do you see actual people who feel this way? I don't but this was Trump country to start with so we don't have a lot of "switchers".

I conceded it is entirely possible that Trump's somewhat limited successes could have moved people on the east coast more than in the rest of the country because Trump has that NYC thing going for him. He is part of the culture there for decades in a way that doesn't exactly carry across the rest of the country.

It will be interesting to see how GOP congressmen do in the midterms in those east coast strongholds. Trump should try to make the midterms a referendum on what he and the GOP have already done (tax cuts, deregulation, energy policy, foreign policy). I think it would be wise since the Dems will be trying to make the midterms a referendum on Trump himself.

It IS a referendum on Trump himself, the People know that, and We, the People, LIKE Trump. He is one of us. He is offended by exactly the same shit that offends us. That's why he won Michigan, and Wisconsin - the upper Midwest, where the smart people who are working class are.

We see the political establishment of both parties trying to take him out. And we're not going to let it happen.

We didn't elect him to just be a bull in a china shop, we elected a silverback gorilla to the china shop.

He's doing great. People have jobs - Black men know it. Wages are up. There's work. And all the people we hate, hate him, and he punches them back.

Roseanne got it right.

He moved Michigan, and Wisconsin, and Ohio, and Indiana. THAT'S where the election was won, and THAT's where he's going to keep gaining ground.

You think Michiganders regret electing Trump, because he gets a bunch of assholes like McCain, the Bushes and weak-chinned Graham's panties in a wad? NO! We HATE those people. We LIKE Trump. He talks to us, and sounds like us.

Now, the Republican Party has played a dangerous game for their OWN survival, because THEY are the chief reason that Trump has been blocked from getting his stuff done - the stuff WE want.

He's going to drag them across the line in November anyway, and then end the whole probe rigamarole, and force the Republicans into line. And they'll fall in line too.

He's putting pro-lifers and reasonable people on the courts. He'll put more and more. We'll have peace with North Korea, and Trumps legacy will be a Supreme Court that overturns Roe v Wade.

Okay, all that.

But will they actually turn out in the midterms to vote against the highly motivated Dem mobs? That's what it will take.

Usually a president's supporters desert his cause at the first midterm and it usually means a loss of control of the House or a thin margin of control.

The midterms will determine how much Trump can do in the next few years.

We'll have peace with North Korea, and Trumps legacy will be a Supreme Court that overturns Roe v Wade.

If Kennedy does retire, expect Roberts to be the new swing vote. He might not go along with changes in Roe. It would be so annoying to finally get rid of Kennedy and then have Roberts declare himself the new Kennedy but it seems a little likely to me.

TC, --- I think we're all gonna be surprised by the mid-terms. The Trump supporters are gonna reject the progressives, and I intend to bet on it, if my bookie can get me odds, or even, -- even money..

As Vic said, I can see/smell it coming.

Vic is wrong though, on Roe, and on pro-lifers, who are not reasonable people. - -- Example, - I see no problem with outlawing late term abortion as murder. Let the trials begin.

And forget a Trump re-election if they do...

He's putting pro-lifers and reasonable people on the courts. He'll put more and more.

I noticed this bit from Hewitt in WaPo and, recalling our mention of the courts, I thought I'd quote it:

...Trump has appointed 21 of the 167 current full-time judges and intends to fill another 20 or more vacancies by year end. The president and the GOP-controlled Senate have thus already put one-eighth of the federal appeals bench in their seats. Each of those new appointees — all principled “originalists” in the mold of the late Justice Antonin Scalia — will have more than 400 participations in 2018 alone. There are 10 more appeals court nominees in the queue and a dozen other vacancies awaiting nominees beyond those, and Senate Republicans have made these positions their priority (unless there is a retirement on the Supreme Court). With the age of initial appointment dropping and retirement age advancing, we can reasonably expect Trump-appointed judges to average 20 years on the bench. Expect a total of 40 new appeals court judges by the end of Trump’s first two years.

25% of all appeals courts judges replaced, in just two years? Damn. It has to be driving Schumer and Durbin insane to watch this happen.
