Banners reading "Trump Make Israel Great" were hung throughout Jerusalem to mark the opening of the new U.S. Embassy on Monday. The banners were hung in advance of the new embassy's opening, which coincides with Israeli independence day. The embassy's opening is a fulfillment of one of Trump's campaign promises and a break from the international community. Israelis see the ancient city as their capital — sentiments Trump echoed in December with his decision to relocate the U.S. Embassy there — while Palestinians view East Jerusalem as the capital of a future Palestinian state. The international community, however, has traditionally viewed Tel Aviv as Israel's capital. The new embassy has also been celebrated by Jerusalem's soccer club, which has sought to change its name to "Beitar Trump Jerusalem." Poster Comment: In other news, 55 Hamas terrorists died today trying to tear down the Gaza wall so their waiting terrorist factions could invade Israel and attack civilians.
