New York Daily News, April 28, 2018 Cops raiding a Queens home Thursday found a small arsenal of guns and ammo. Officers hauled off 16 rifles, a crossbow and 13,000 rounds of ammunition around 9:34 a.m. from the Queens Village house of Keith Harvey, 44, a contractor. Bullets were packed into metal military-like ammo boxes or still in the original packaging. Cops also found a ballistic vest, numerous high-capacity clips and a knuckle knife. Among the weapons were three assault rifles — including a Fabrique Nationale model with a 50-round clip and two AK-47-style guns. Harvey, who has no prior criminal record, was charged with multiple count of illegal weapons possession. “Illegal firearms pose an extreme risk to the public, and in Queens County creating your own warehouse of lethal shotguns and rifles will not be tolerated,” Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said. He was arraigned Friday and bail was set at $150,000. Harvey remains jailed at Vernon Bain Center until his next court date May 11. Harvey’s friend and neighbor, Joe Russo, 50, said there was no reason for all the alarm. “These allegations are insane,” he said. “He is a gun collector. His father was one too. He gave him the guns. It’s amazing what some people will come up with. He’s a hardworking man who has never been in trouble.” Some of the weapons and ammo were found in Harvey’s gun safe in his dining room. It was the third arrest in the past two weeks of a person with a huge cache of illegal weapons in their home. On April 16, cops found 70 guns and 50,000 bullets in the Bayside home of a man named Ronald Drabman. They found an AK-47 rifle, two Colt AR-15 rifles, five Bushmaster XM-15 rifles and an Uzi submachine gun in Drabman’s home. Cops believe Drabman was a collector. On April 15, Robert Czak, 32, of Long Island was arrested after cops found 19 guns in his house, 200 high-capacity magazines, gas masks, knives, night vision goggles and a silencer. Chances are he and the others arrested filed for permits years ago to be in legal possession of the weapons,and the NYC weapons possession laws have changed since then,"justifying" the arrests.

Unless of course you live in the northeast,or the far left part of the country,where the US Constitution doesn't apply,and the feral government doesn't even pretend they have any authority anymore. NYC is unique,though. They get to put un-constitutional laws on their books that would be shot down in any other state in the nation,yet even the feds leave them alone to violate Constitutional Rights as they see fit,without even clearing a throat or raising a finger in question. NO official from ANY political party has the stones to stand up and say "HEY! RETARD! WAIT ONE FREAKING MINUTE,HERE! to them,and that is because the wealthiest families in the nation,and maybe even in the world,all have homes or outposts there,and that is where the Industrial Strength political contributions come from. The uber wealthy DO love their personal security,so they have established a system where THEY and their bodyguards can run around carrying submachine guns under their coats legally,and the typical homeowners can't legally own and carry a single shot 22 pistol. And NOBODY in the feral goobermint seems to have a problem with this when what they SHOULD be doing is rolling the hummvees full of MP's on city hall and arresting every sob in the building before heading to Albany to arrest the state leadership for allowing NYC to get away with it. Not to mention taking the badges AND pensions away from EVERY NYC cop in a supervisory position and temporarily putting the military in charge of the NYPD. NYC reminds me of pre-revolutionary Paris. The prime difference being that Paris was full of actual French citizens and NYC is populated by scum from all over the planet.

I mostly agree with you on this one,but there are still many places in Ca that are nice places to live that are populated by good people. None of them anywhere near a beach,though.
