Title: Even Liberal Media Confesses: Maxine Waters’ Hypocrisy is “Cringe-Worthy”

When a liberal politician like Rep. Maxine Waters can draw condemnation from the liberal media, like, whoa, you know she stepped in it.

Not only is Waters a progressive, she’s a BLACK, FEMALE progressive, which puts her on such hallowed ground that we’re shocked that anyone at the Washington Post dared to take a swipe at her. Not only is she a BLACK, FEMALE Democrat, but she’s someone who has never had one good thing to say about Donald Trump. That doesn’t just put her above criticism in liberal circles, it makes her a kind of living deity.

This is a woman that is so cherished by the leftist media that when Trump had the audacity to question her IQ (a fair and reasonable question for anyone who has listened to this woman speak), the left said it was a racist attack.

But the Washington Post’s Aaron Blake couldn’t hold his tongue when Waters went on MSNBC this week and made a fool of herself. Perhaps cognizant of her low IQ, host Chris Hayes kindly asked Waters to explain how it was that she could say former FBI Director James Comey had no credibility when he was in charge of Hillary Clinton’s email investigation, but now rush to his defense as he gallops around on his anti-Trump book tour.

Her answer was one for the ages.

“I’ve tried to clarify that and to say, yes, coming out of that classified briefing, I said that, and I certainly meant it,” she said. “However, I think it is quite different when you take a look at Comey and his relationship to the president, what he said, what he’s done. I believe him. So then was then and now is now.”

Uh-huh.

Blake writes:

Part of being a politician is showing that you have some consistent moral compass — that you don’t just promote things and people because they say things you like and denounce them when it’s inconvenient. Saying Comey has “no credibility” means he lacks character and can’t be trusted to tell the truth. That doesn’t really change with circumstances and with the passage of 15 months.

What’s more, Waters said she “certainly meant it” when she said Comey had no credibility. So either she’s acknowledging that she is a bad judge of credibility (and probably shouldn’t be trusted to judge it today), or she’s admitting to a thoroughly convenient political evolution.

Politicians aren’t viewed as the most consistent and trustworthy people; in fact, Gallup polling shows that members of Congress are basically tied with lobbyists as the least-trusted of 21 professions tested. And sometimes they show us why.

To be fair, though, she may not be smart enough to see the hypocrisy in her answer. Why attribute to malice what we could just as easily attribute to idiocy?

Oh, but that’s racist. We forgot.

Poster Comment:

Maxine Waters is a perfect, shining example of exactly why the Democrat policy of promoting identity over merit is a terrible, laughable failure. She's dumb as a box of rocks, had enormous power and influence just handed to her for no other reason than who she is, a negro female democrat willing to parrot the party line word for word in exchange for an obscene amount of wealth and prestige she didn't earn and doesn't deserve and used it pretty much the way you would expect someone to with a double digit IQ.

The worst part being every time anyone tries to point out these undeniable realities they get accused of racism and screeched our of public existence by the liberal reality police. Although race has nothing to do with it at all. There are just as many white democrats cashing in on fake victim identity politics who are just as absurdly unqualified. Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, and of course the recently unseated criminal queen. What democrats have made themselves too dense to realize is that this is an important one of the many, many, many reasons they're losing their power. Let's hope they stay that way.

To be fair to Mad Maxine,it's ain't hypocrisy if you are too stupid to understand what you are saying.

In the entire history of the world, the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.

The ends justify the means. There is an objective and an agenda to get there. Human beings are mere gears in a wheel to press forward the agenda. Ms. Waters is a solid gear in the Democrat machine, and the voters in her district want the agenda, so they return her to office. The Democrat machine recognizes that she is an utterly reliable vote, and they need to spend money on other seats, so they support her and snuff out any incipient opposition.

I never support stealing. You choose to call taxation, duly voted upon by elected representatives in a constitutional process "stealing". You don't get to make up the meaning of words. You insist on it because you're a habitual liar who resorts to smears when you don't like things.

It is stealing by congressrats who care nothing about those that had to vote for them, that is if it's a Democrat. The rest of us suckers who vote for poison lite sit back and wonder what the hell we can do about it!

Only ONE representative in that huge body of perverted lifers truly lives up to his oath by 100%: Rep. Massie from Kentucky!

Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.

Yes Vic claims god worked through him to bring a mouse and some bug or something back to life. He also said god doesn't heal people in this life he let's them die. Vic is special. It's kind of like his own personal version of a comfort animal.

You would think so, given the way that AKA Stone lies.

There was a thread or two in which I presented some of the miracles I have seen and experienced directly as the reason for my certitudes about the existence of God.

Stone has been offended ever since, calling me at various times a liar, crazy, or "special" (pejoratively) because of these things.

He thinks I'm lying or delusional. I'm neither. The implications if I'm not lying or delusional are perfectly clear to him, which is why his lip is always curled in hatred at me, exactly like a Pharisee of old. Well, I'm not lying, and I'm not delusional.

Now, as it happened, I did not relate those miracles to tell anybody that he should give up his religion and follow mine. Never said that. I said that this was the proof, to me, of the reality of my God and the acceptability to him of my approach to him.

This has made Stone insanely angry. (And jealous, though he would never admit it. After all, why should a goddamned CATHOLIC get to experience such things, given how EVIL we "obviously" are (to him - because he doesn't understand aspects of our religion, and preachers have been telling him we're satanic since he was little, and he believes them)? Why wouldn't a good Protestant like him have these experiences as a reward for his faith? God CAN'T act that way, he just CAN'T! Therefore, Stone reasons, Vicomte13 is a liar, and those things never happened to him.

That's what is going on.

The things that enrage him and obsess him: (1) When I was a boy, I ran down a dock alone, dove into a shallow unknown lake, hit the bottom at full force, broke my neck and was laying at the bottom of the lake, paralyzed and drowning. I cried out with a simple prayer, and God healed me and let me move again, and rise up out of the water and live - but I could tell nobody then or else I would be paralyzed for life in a wheelchair. So I told no one at the time, and for decades afterwards. It is the reason that I know, with perfect certitude, that God exists.

(2) Several years ago, God raised a dead lizard back to life in my hands.

(3) He also raised a small dead mouse back to life in my hands.

These things happened, and make me certain of the existence of God. And when challenged to "prove" God, I will say that these miracles prove him to ME, that nobody else is going to be convinced God exists because of my testimony, because I could be lying or delusional - what Stone thinks. I will then follow up and say: I can't show you MY miracles, but God left other miracles, physical ones that anyone CAN examine, and that modern forensic science HAS examined carefully, and concluded are "scientifically inexplicable". I am always willing to give a list of those miracles, so that people can go look for themselves. I observe that all of the visible "permanent" miracles in the world that one can do this with, except for one, are Christian in informational content, which demonstrates that the God who intervenes in the world in this way does not do so randomly across all cultures and religions, but does it for only one - demonstrating by divine indication which one is most acceptable to God.

That's the context.

Because miracle DOES prove God, the implication of miracle is that those who deny God or say we can't know are demonstrably wrong. Therefore those who are wedded to an atheistic or agnostic position always deny the miracles. In doing so they run out on science and lose the rational basis of the rest of their arguments, but they don't accept that that's what they are doing, so conversation with them is effectively at an end. They devolve into saying that such miracles "don't exist", or that they are frauds and lies. They will look superficially at the facts, or find an Internet skeptic who agrees with them, and satisfy their own minds, outwardly, that they are right. But the subject will bother them, because they see the weakness in their own argument, and often makes them angrier in willful ignorance.

Because the informational content of the examinable miracles (not my personal ones) vouch for one religion only, and are the proof for and even source of some of the particular beliefs of one particular denomination within Christianity, those of all other religions or denominations act similarly to atheists and agnostics in these regards.

Exhibit A: Stone.

Thing is, I don't bring up my own experiences on thread after thread as proof of God or my own relationship with him. All I do is bring up God's morality, as revealed through the Jesus of the Christian Bible. I treat Jesus' commandments as law, and point out how nations, including ours, depart from that law in important ways, and how Christians in particular are hypocritical in doing so and in defiance of the God they proclaim.

I do so calmly and with dead certitude of one who has seen the hand of God at work and spoken with the God who is.

I often freely admit that some of the things I want to do are quite at odds with what God wants. I NEVER claim to have caused those animals to rise from the dead. NEVER. I NEVER claim to have been the source of any of the miracles I have seen. I CLEARLY am not, and it would be insane for me to ascribe to myself something that I KNOW that the GOD WHO HEALED MY BROKEN NECK AND PARALYZED, DROWNING BODY did. It would be INSANE for me to start claiming for myself things done in private by God in my presence, for my eyes. It would be INSANE for me to take these experiences and press them too far, by saying "Follow me! God talks to me!" Because God said "Follow me" from the skies regarding JESUS, not me, and God left the miracles that anybody under the sun can look at, through the lens of modern science, and realize that they are, indeed, miracles, and that they are all laden with CHRISTIAN (not Jewish, not Muslim, not Hindu, not Bhuddist, not scientific atheistic) content.

Because I've met God directly, I know God is, and I am direct and solid as a rock about what he wants, because he SAID what he wants, out of the lips of Jesus of Nazareth, who is very clear, recorded in quadruplicate.

THAT is my politics. THAT is my moral code. THAT is my legal code. THAT is the source of every single moral thing I assert. Sometimes I get mad and let my own evil nature show through - my desire sometimes to see the evil people killed dead. And I admit straightforwardly when it is me being angry and evil.

I am very consistent in my presentation of what the law should be, and what it should be rooted in what Jesus (not Moses, not Allah, and not George Stephanopoulos) said. The miracles are WHY I am so completely adamantine in my stance. I know what's what, and I don't bend on it.

It's why, for example, when it comes to the history of a nation, such as America, or of a Church (including the Catholic) I am unstinting in my condemnation of great moral evils such as slavery and oppression. God sees and is just, and our national and denominational sins are not hidden from him any more than our personal sins. Our pride and dishonesty in avoiding coming to grips, face to face, with our shame, disgrace and evils past - and ADDRESSING them and not trying to pretend they don't matter - this is the only way we're ever going to be forgiven those sins. Repentance, confession, penance, absolution - that's the way of it, and nobody and nothing is "special" or gets a pass from what God has demanded.

I talk the way I do and stand where I stand - not in a party, and scolding that which is wrong regardless of lines of allegiance - precisely BECAUSE of these roots, which come from the fact that I know for certain God is, and who he is, BECAUSE of miracles, personal and public.

The miracles are the foundation of everything. And they put the axe to the root of every competing belief system. They are why I am so CERTAIN about things.

They are what Stone hates so much about me, such that HE - not me, him - HE brings them up every few weeks. He thinks he's getting my goat because he thinks I know I'm lying.

In this he is deceived. For each time he brings them up, he reminds me of the amazing things that God has done for me, and he reminds me of what I have experienced and the ultimate truths that matter, and that I know it. He causes me to shake off my torpor and stand more firmly than ever.

I feel sorry for him, because I know he's wrong and he thinks he's right.

Anyway, that is what the dead animals he brings up are all about. And HE is the one who brings them up, not me.

I will see if I can get that book you recommended today, and I'll read it and let you know what I think.
