Title: Rapid Decline: Californians Fleeing High Taxes and Insane Property Costs

For no other discernible reason other than it gave the state’s Democrats another opportunity to do battle with Donald Trump, California lawmakers proposed a bill following the Republican tax cuts that would immediately confiscate corporate savings and turn them over to the government. Assemblymen Kevin McCarty and Phil Ting proposed an amendment to the state constitution that would compel businesses to hand 10% of their net earnings over to the state coffers in an effort to raise money for social programs.

“It is unconscionable to force working families to pay the price for tax breaks and loopholes benefiting corporations and wealthy individuals,” said Ting in January, betraying his complete lack of economic knowledge. “This bill will help blunt the impact of the federal tax plan on everyday Californians by protecting funding for education, affordable health care and other core priorities.”

This bill, of course, was not in the least meant for “working families” but rather for families supported entirely by the social safety net – families that don’t have to worry about paying taxes because, well, they don’t have any taxable income.

The fate of that bill has yet to be decided, but Californians have apparently just about had it with the state’s exorbitant, socialist-nation-style taxes.

Californians may still love the beautiful weather and beaches, but more and more they are fed up with the high housing costs and taxes and deciding to flee to lower-cost states such as Nevada, Arizona and Texas.

“There’s nowhere in the United States that you can find better weather than here,” said Dave Senser, who lives on a fixed income near San Luis Obispo, California, and now plans to move to Las Vegas. “Rents here are crazy, if you can find a place, and they’re going to tax us to death. That’s what it feels like. At least in Nevada they don’t have a state income tax. And every little bit helps.”

Senser, 65, who previously lived in the east San Francisco Bay region, said housing costs and gas prices are “significantly lower in Las Vegas. The government in the state of California isn’t helping people like myself. That’s why people are running out of this state now.”

With the state opening their doors to every Mexican that hops the fence and spending every last dime in the California treasury to wage meaningless legal battles against the Trump administration, residents can rest assured that today’s high taxes will be even higher tomorrow. Eventually, there will come a breaking point. With people fleeing by the thousands already, that point may come sooner than Sacramento Democrats would like to think.

"IF IT'S BROWN FLUSH IT"

The problem with the nitwits who flee Californicate for AZ, NM, NV and all points is that they take their baggage with them. They're mostly cowards who won'[t stand and fight. They'll screw their new states up exactly the way New Hampshire became a leftist mecca full of those from Taxachewshits. They've learned nothing as to how and why taxes become onerous.

Most of small town California have reasonable rents, and --- "Eventually, there will come a breaking point" -- don't move, fight!

This is what "progressives" want. They want a feudal system of peons and lords. Run the middle class out bring in illegal aliens to work for them as slave labor. Demoncrats claim to be for the people by pushing socialism which is a class society of very poor and very rich. Which is really no more than a feudal system "progressives" they will run. Dumbfucks vote for them thinking they will get a society of equality will get it in the form 90% will be equally poor.

Anyone that votes for a demoncrat is mentally ill.

What bothers me is that the people fleeing will go somewhere conservatives run and ruin it with the same voting patterns that made places like calipornia!!

Looking more and more like Madrid in 1936!

Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.
