A Manhattan man was attacked and robbed by two teenagers in Central Park, police said on Sunday. The 52-year-old man was walking in the park near 72nd Street and Central Drive just before 10:30 p.m. Friday, when Ronald Hill, 16, and Calisha Armand, 19, approached and began asking him questions, police said.
Hill, from Syosset, Long Island, suddenly punched the unsuspecting man in the face, knocking him to the ground. The duo then stole the man’s wallet and ran off.
The victim was treated at the scene by EMS.
The thieves were arrested nearby shortly thereafter, police said.
Hill was charged with robbery and criminal possession of stolen property. He has three prior arrests, including for robbery and petit larceny.
Armand, who is listed as living at an ACS facility in Kips Bay, was charged with robbery. She has been busted seven times before, including for assault.
