David Hoggs weirdo generation of senseless teens just got the best news of their life! The news is that they could be the worst generation anyone has ever seen. This is all sparked by doing things such as eating Tide Pods to get social media likes, protesting to give their rights away, and now its about to get a whole lot worse. If you thought Hoggs generation was bad when they were eating detergent, then wait until you see what theyre doing next. Its absolutely horrible, disgusting, foul, and downright repulsive! The challenge youre about to see is absolutely horrific.
Parents always hope their teenagers make smart decisions, but it seems like this generation might be parentless based on what were seeing so far. Todays generation is taking the social challenges to another level. Some of the older crowd did the ice bucket challenge where they dumped buckets of ice water on their head to raise awareness for ALS. Some people did the cinnamon challenge where they ate a spoonful of cinnamon to see if they could handle it. The next generation started eating Tide Pods and theyve taken it a notch. They are now snorting condoms in their noses and pulling them out of their mouth. It is unknown if the condoms are filled with a bodily fluid, but that hasnt derailed the teenagers from participating in a disturbing trend thats making its way around social media.
Cleveland 19 reported more on the sick new trend of snorting condoms: Videos posted on social media show people unwrapping a condom from the packaging, snorting it up one nostril, and then attempting to pull it through the pharynx and out of the mouth.
The challenge has been around for several years, but it is becoming popular again as people, mainly younger adults and teens, search for stupid trends to do during boredom that will go viral on the internet.
Its dangerous because the condom could easily get stuck in the nose and throat, blocking breathing and causing the challenger to choke.
The nose is connected to the back of the mouth its also connected to the airwaves. Theres every possibility something you push up your nose will end up in your windpipe, or in your lungs. With potentially fatal results, Dr. Carol Cooper told United Kingdom news company The Sun.
In many of the videos, you can see pain on the faces of those who take part in the condom snorting challenge.
It seems like just years ago we watched movies and television like Jackass take funny and extreme stunts to new heights. They ran shopping carts into things, smacked each other around, and did funny humorous pranks that caught everyones attention. Granted, they were mostly practiced and performed in front of a team of professionals and people who can help if theres an injury. However, todays teens have skipped all of the pranks and nonsense stunts and went straight to the vile and disgusting acts of social media glory.
The condom snorting is absolutely horrific and presents a risk of having people choke while theyre on camera recording themselves put a sexual product inside their nostrils and pulling it out of their own throat.
As if eating Tide Pods wasnt bad enough, the condom snorting challenge is just about the next most nasty thing we can see. People are wondering why anyone would want to put that in their nose when it smells horrible and people could choke if it gets stuck in their throat.
The misguided teens place the condom in their nose and begin snorting it in. Then they try pulling it out of their mouth in the most disgusting and nasty thing you could ever imagine. Then they place their gross video on social media and people start liking the video and commenting on it. It almost becomes a challenge as people then try to compete with each other by posting their own videos and trying to get more likes than the last person. Its a disgusting challenge that people have become used to, but its probably something that they should stop doing.
Doing something funny, such as pranks or stunts, is one thing but this is simply repulsive. Just imagine when these young teens apply for college and the school looks at their social media accounts and realizes theyre looking at someones condom snorting video. These videos probably wont help anyone get into college and it seems like some of the teens simply dont care. Theyd rather have a few likes on social media instead of looking beyond the screen and into their future.
Parents if you find condoms in your teenagers possession, then please talk to them about using it the correct way. Condoms dont belong in the nose. and it seems like these teens sure need a refresher course.

These children think they have the "right" to do whatever they want...unless they don't think any of us have the "right" to exercise our constitutional rights. Think maybe this has gone too far?
Parents need to be more aware of what their kids are doing and start monitoring their behavior. This "invasion of privacy" crap does not apply to your kids...because they are kids and don't have the same rights as adults.
Our greatest fear should be that these children are the ones who will be running our country in a few years. Maybe these idiots will be stopped by the sane ones who did not eat detergent pods and snort condoms. Probably not.
Laura Ingram, of Fox, with her special sensitivity, is scolded and penalized by her program's sponsor for seeing and reporting on the scum-bag element of this Spoiled Brat genre housed within his miniscule society of miss-fits? Shall we all review, again, that list and MAKE OUR POINT by boycotting those sponsors?

I've seen these new commercials for some sort of sinus cleaners that use water, flushed thru the one nostril and out the other.
Anybody ever used one, or have any idea how they prevent getting water in the lung?

It's the best fad to occur in years. Maybe the bastards will kill themselves and purify the country of mindless low lifes.

Neti Pots. Been used in India for centuries.
I've been using one for years to flush my sinuses before bedtime, and sometimes during the day. It's best to use the special salt made for this purpose because it helps kill infections as well as free up "slugs".
I used to use mine every night before bed,but have now slacked off and usually only remember to use it when I have a head cold and need to flush my sinuses out to help my breathing.
You can buy the plastic pots with the special salt at grocery stores, and they work ok for a travel pot because they have screw on plastic lids so you can store the salt packets inside it while traveling. IMHO,your best bet is to buy one of the ceramic Neti Pots from Amazon or some similar place because you can heat them in a microwave to help with the nasal flush. Be VERY careful how "hot" you heat one, though. "Hot" to your finger touch is NOT the same thing as "hot" to your nasal passages.
No,you don't get any water in your lungs while using the Neti Pot. Do you get water in your lungs when you drink water? You don't swallow while trying to breathe or you would have died long ago.

Are you REALLY so stupid you belive they are snorting used condoms with semen in them?
Or is it that you are so obsessed with sex being dirty that the word "condoms" makes your knees jump up and smack you under the chin?
Or maybe you think condom manufacturers are now shipping out condoms in sealed packs that are already full of semen? After all,it clearly states in the article they are taking the condoms out of sealed packages.

Thanks, your info is just what I needed.
My COPD is getting worse, and unobstructed breathing through my nose is an issue. -- Never used one of these things, but I'm gonna try it...
Do yourself a favor and buy a ceramic one so you can heat the water a little to help break up the congestion. Be VERY careful doing this, though. Heat it a little at a time in a microwave, and when the water is WARM to your finger, try that. If it wasn't warm enough, heat for another 10 seconds next time until you get it to where you need it.
You may want one of the plastic ones for road trips. I recommend one that has a screw on lid. That way you can store the salts in it,and not have to search through your bag for scattered packets.
The ceramic ones are the ones you want for daily use, though.

Who knows what the little wanker does. The sucking up of condoms through nasal passages is but another example of the intelligence level of today's 'children.'

I'm with the Reno VA, and those bastards are giving me trouble about getting a portable oxy generator..
How do you manage a longer trip?
Somehow or another,I partially recovered a little of my ability to breathe. On good days,I can walk 50 yards or more without gasping for breath or blacking out. On bad days I have to hit the inhaler after walking from the house to the truck.
I THINK a big part of my problem now is related to all the weight I gained when I first came down with it. I went from around 165 to 312 lbs,and there ain't no getting away from it,all that belly puts pressure on your diaphragm and makes it hard to breathe. I had lost almost 70 lbs and was doing better, and then my leg the VA screwed up while doing surgery on it got infected again and all I could do was sit on my ass and surf the net or watch tv. The pain even made it hard to sleep. Yeah,I do have pain pills, but I learned long ago that pain is your friend because it keeps reminding me to not do something stupid and cause more damage. I do take a pain pill occasionally when the pain gets too bad, though.
Going to a civilian doc this afternoon to get another Uniboot put on the leg to try to kill the infection and let new flesh grow back again. Can't get this done at the VA because they don't do it,so me and Medicaid have to pay for it.
Once I get it on,that means I go another week without being able to do much more than sit in the house to keep from getting it wet or dirty for another week. I'm just hoping that when I got back to get it taken off next week that the infection has cleared up and I won't need another one installed. If I keep screwing around with uniboots,by the time I get done with them it will be too hot and humid for me to work outside again.
Not bitching TOO much about it,though. Sooner or later the VA is going to get their wish and they will amputate it,but I am doing everything I can do to delay that date.

Damn Pete, is your leg problem service related? -- And even if it isn't, why in hell are the VA making you pay private for a procedure that could prevent an amputation?
Just doesn't make sense. ---- Granted, a lot the VA does, doesn't...
Damn Pete, is your leg problem service related? --
Yes and no,mostly no. It is directly related to the VA botching a operation on it,though.
Since I am an Agent Orange vet,I get unspecified "growths" cut out of me from time to time. Had a lump the size of a golf ball growing near the inside of my knee that I had them cut out. The reality is that it was probably the size of a marble, but looked like a golf ball because of all fluids.
Anyhow, the VA cut this "growth" out and sent it off for analysis, and then forgot to reattach the blood vein that was feeding it.Within a week my leg was infected and swelling. Within 2 weeks it had turned black and purple, and had burst.
The VA solution was to tell me to take more fluid pills to get the swelling down the first week. By the end of the second week they were talking amputation. That was when I started doing a little talking myself, and let it be known I was getting a second opinion.
I did. I went to a local surgeon who looked at it and told me "Normally something like this would be no problem. I do Varicose Vein Replacement surgery all the time, and what that means is I cut a hole in the top of your leg, feed a rubber or plastic (I forgot which) tube down your leg,and attach it to the good blood vein at both ends. Takes about 45 minutes, and I can do it right here in the office and you go home the same day.
I can't do it in this case because your leg is severely infected, and cutting on it will only help spread the infection. So what I am going to do is put a Uniboot (pressure wrap soaked with anti-biotics) on your leg and have you come back in a week and see how it's doing."
This went on for 3 weeks before the infection cleared up enough for him to do the vein replacement surgery, but it went just like he said, and MOSTLY cured the problem.
I say "mostly" because the circulation in that leg had been destroyed long enough for permanent damage to have occurred. There was a whole chuck on meat that just rotted away at the front of my leg,and there is a concave "hole" there with only a thin layer of skin over my shin bone. If I bang it against something, the skin tears and infection sits in again. If I scrape it against anything anywhere, even on the back of the leg, infection sits in again.
There is no cure. Only treatment.
I may have been told wrong, but I have been told the VA docs that did the surgery and who suggested amputation didn't tell me about the vein replacement surgery because the VA doesn't offer it,and they aren't allowed to suggest surgery not offered by the VA.
End result,I pay for it until it needs to be amputated, and then the VA starts paying the medical bills. I am already at 100 percent disabled and have been for decades,so there is no additional pay when this happens.

I am really sorry to hear that. Could you check some established alternative medicine, I mean an old one from another tradition? On your place I would go to a physician or healer who knows Chinese medicine. I would first find a good one (there are many fake ones).

If you find a good one, he can do miracles.
Thanks for the suggestion. Frankly,I hadn't even thought of it. I will definitely give it and everything else my full attention if/when things get so bad I am told amputation is the only answer.
I am in my 70's,and a diabetic. Cutting off limbs if you are an elderly diabetic never leads to good things happening.

When they tell you this, it might be too late to help. Better to do it soon. Sooner the better, such disease is a process that can become irreversible.

Sounds to me like you should start raising holy hell to get into the Veterans Choice Program, - to get a local doc, out of the system.. -- I just did it, - only took me over a year of fighting bureaucrats.. - At least you wouldn't have to pay for medicare.
My wife was on dialysis, which lead to a similar leg condition. It took the two of us over a year of daily cleanings to get the hole fully healed.. --'A year after that she finally got her kidney transplant, but she died only a couple years later. -- Get someone to help you keep that leg clean, whatever else you do..
Good luck in dealing with those VA creeps, you shouldn't be paying for a damn thing.

Yeah,in the real world it doesn't work that way. I have had 4 emergency surgeries in the last 10 years or so,and the VA refused to pay a dime on any of them because I didn't get prior approval from the VA.
They said what I SHOULD have done was go to the VA hospital for treatment, and then have them transfer me to a local hospital if they couldn't handle it.
The nearest VA hospital is close to 70 miles from me,but the closest hospital is about 30 miles from me. No one in the VA has ever had an answer when I asked them where would THEY go if they were facing dying and needed emergency surgery to keep living.
In other words, they were just looking for an excuse to NOT pay.
Just got the last of those medical bills paid off maybe 6 months ago.

BTW,can't get into the Veterans Choice program any longer. Congress was getting after the VA to offer vets options that lived too far away from a VA hospital to be practical for them,so they responded by opening what amounts to 1st Aid Clinics as satellite treatment centers for vets. IIRC,at the time this started if you lived further than 65 miles from a VA hospital, you could get the Veterans Choice Card. These clinics qualify as "VA Hospitals" despite closing at 5 PM,and having no ER room or surgeons on duty. The plan is you are supposed to go there and then be transferred to the VA hospital in a van.
Unless of course you have a problem after 5:00 PM or on a weekend when they are closed. None of them have an answer to that, although I would be willing to bet they would say they would have been willing to reimburse you the cab fare to the VA Hospital if pushed. Which is still not a solution if you are injured or dying. People who operate public transport don't like to take on bleeding or dying passengers, and the local Rescue Squad isn't allowed to cross state lines.

Two weeks ago, I finally had my first appointment with a local doc (at a local hospital) under the Choice Program. Previously I had to go 45 miles away to the Clinic at Susanville Ca. -- and then to specialists at Reno, Nevada, 90 miles away.
--- So the Choice Program is still working out here.--- The bureaucrats in the program told me the new qualifying distance is 35 miles away by road.. You should try again, imo.. Took me a year, but it's gonna save me a lot of driving and hopefully, I'll get better care here, locally..
The bureaucrats in the program told me the new qualifying distance is 35 miles away by road..
That's not going to be any help for me. I'm pretty sure the new "clinic" they opened is only about 30 miles from me.

My dear, before cancer "was discovered" there was no cancer?
Peasants in Eastern Europe were putting molded bread into infected wounds, long before bacteria "were discovered", using opium tea for pain and insomnia. Many official [patented of course] medications used today derive from tens of thousands years of tribal experience and research.
"Traditional Chinese Medicine offers an alternative explanation and treatment for most diabetic patients. Traditional Chinese remedies can be used, in tandem with insulin, to treat the pancreas and other damaged internal organ functions gradually, control blood sugar, and reduce insulin dosage over time. This treatment aims to slowly reduce insulin intake while recovering the pancreatic functions until eventually insulin usage can be stopped completely."
"One prescription herbal formula includes Chinese mai men dong / ophipogonon, Jie Geng / Platycodon, and Wu WeiZi/Schisandra. This works to bring the Qi up into the lung, making it stronger and using the pulmonary energy to feed the entire body. The resulting increased abundance of Qi in the lung can promote the oxidation and utilization of sugar.
Another prescription formula that includes, but is not limited to Diascoria/ Shan Yao, HuangQi/Astragalus, Fu Ling/ Poria, and Cang Zhu/Atractylodes, helps the bodys Qi nourish the spleen and pancreas. With adequate blood supply and vigorous circulation, beta cells can be repaired and pancreatic function restored. Research studies have shown that this prescription formula can lower blood sugar in various degrees, and Huang Qi can inhibit gluconeogenesis (abnormal glucose formation).
The function of Chinese Yam and Gou Qi Zi/Lycium in the prescription formula is to strengthen the kidney and nourish the liver. Since the kidney controls the fluid in the entire body, it is the master organ for fluid metabolism. Also, the kidney plays a leading role in the cause and development of diabetes. Modern medicine believes that the state of the spleen and kidney has a direct effect on metabolic and immune functions.
Recent studies have shown that Chinese Yam, formulated with various other Chinese herbs, can fight against rising blood sugar caused by the adrenal gland.
The prescription formula of Dan Shen / Salvia, San Leng/S.fluviatilis, E Zhu/ Curcuma, and Cang Zhu/Atracylodes relieves blood stasis (stagnation), promotes circulation, cleanses the pancreas and the surrounding congestion, and clears the channels of nutrient transport. This contributes tremendously to the nourishment of the pancreas and cell repair."
a new generation of ethnobotanists set out to find cures in the Amazon with Schultes name on their lips. There was Tim Ploughman, who collected more than 700 specimens of coca plant, making him a foremost authority on the plant from which cocaine derives. (The nightshade species Brunfelsia plowmaniana was named for him.) And there was Wade Davis, who, after collecting some 6,000 botanical specimens, is now an Explorer-in-Residence at the National Geographic Society.
There were also important breakthroughs, such as the discovery of Madagascar Periwinkle, an ancient folk remedy for diabetes that was marketed by Eli Lilly as a powerful anti-cancer drug.
But the ethics around such breakthroughs have long been cloudy at best, if not outright exploitative. For instance, as a consequence of the commercialization of Madagascar Periwinkle, Eli Lilly now realizes $100 million annually from sales of these drugs, sold under the trade names Velbun and Oncovin, writes Michael Hassemer, in a collection of legal essays titled, Indigenous Heritage and Intellectual Property. In contrast, local populations do not share in the benefits that arise from the rosy periwinkle, which holds particularly true of the people of Madagascar, the original home of this plant.
============
Rhubarb Root
This uncommonly used herb has actually been in use for thousands of years, but it must be handled very carefully. Rhubarb contains a compound [8] called emodin, which has incredible antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. When applied topically to the site of the ulcer, a rhubarb root preparation can quickly neutralize the infection and decrease the size of the ulcer, before the inflammatory response syndrome is triggered.
======
Astragalus
For generations, different cultures around the world have turned to astragalus for its many medicinal benefits, and the same is true when it comes to diabetic foot infections. When astragalus is applied directly to the skin, it is known to induce blood flow and speed healing. This will help a diabetic person overcome the microvascular circulation issues, helping to eliminate the underlying infection causing the ulcer.
======
Psyllium
Black and blond psyllium are commonly used to improve the health and wellness of people suffering from diabetes, as it can help to regulate insulin and glucose levels. By remedying many of the side effects of diabetes, you can lower you chances of developing diabetic foot conditions, making this particular herb an important one to have in your medicine cabinet.
Many official [patented of course] medications used today derive from tens of thousands years of tribal experience and research.
