Normally Amazon doesn't use the last-mile delivery via USPS except for very small packages, like audio cables or USB phone adapters. Those are the only kind of items I've received from Amazon via USPS. I think the bigger scandal is how FedEx and USPS are in bed together and UPS suffers financially as a result.
