People are slamming New Yorker magazine over its latest magazine cover, which depicts President Trump addressing reporters while completely nude in an attempt to mock his appearance. The magazine gave a sneak preview Friday of its latest edition and got a flood of responses criticizing the magazine for “body-shaming” the president. “This cover is an outrage. Donald Trump is the President of the United States. As a lifelong Democrat, I strongly oppose his views but he is still the President of the United States and is due an apology,” one user tweeted. “He is someone’s father husband and friend. He deserves better.” Another user called the magazine “a junk publication” for treating the president and lifelong New Yorker disrespectfully. “Imagine the s–t storm had Madame @HillaryClinton won and a magazine had decided to run a cover of her along these lines,” another user wrote. Members of the media also weighed in on the magazine cover, with some even taking the opportunity to mock the president’s weight. “My guess is that Trump will not love the new New Yorker cover,” Think Progress editor Judd Legum tweeted. Washington Post media columnist Erik Wemple penned an entire column praising the cover’s artist for pointing out the size of Trump’s extremities in an apparent jab at the president’s physique. The trend of “fat-shaming” Trump is nothing new. Many celebrities and politicians mocked Trump’s weight in January after Navy Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson, the White House physician, released the results of the president’s physical. Hollywood director James Gunn offered to give $100,000 to Trump’s favorite charity if the president agreed to weigh himself on “an accurate scale” following his physical exam. Former Secretary of State John Kerry mocked Trump’s weight at a dinner in Washington, DC, in January shortly after Jackson made the results of Trump’s physical public. Kerry asked that the president release his “girth certificate.” Poster Comment: Then there's this where the New Wanker had it exactly right, but meant it in jest: I think that Trump is doing a fantastic job. How the hell did he ever get elected was the work of God I believe, With all the collusion against him, and he still won. WOW, KEEP DRAINING THAT SWAMP TRUMP, YOU MADE A BELIEVER OUT OF ME. WE HAVE YOUR BACK, If you want to fire anyone that you think has to be fired, Then by all means FIRE THEM, You are the President! Perhaps The Brown Clown himself is the new editor at New Yorker... after all he is the most racist president in our history...he could be pissed that President Trump has made him irrelevant in one year....Zero Legacy!!

It looks like an emperor-has-no-clothes cartoon to me.
But is it insulting to the president? Ramirez (great political cartoonist) wouldn't have thought to publish such a degrading attempt at humor for Braaack! Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.
I wouldn't be so quick to assert that. He is pretty daring at times. Let's look back at another example of quasi-presidential nudity. That was the cover of Weekly Standard some years back. Is that particularly offensive? In the graphic depicted above, I would say that the artist made an attempt to give Trump the appearance of an overfed Roman emperor, like Nero. So Trump is the Nero/Nixon of the modern WH. So that is an aspect of the insult this cartoon offers to Trump, a stylistic insult intended as a not-so-sly historical comparison. Of course, it is very hard to find any example of similar cartoons of Barry 0dinga. All the artists don't want to be depicted 50 years from now as some kind of subtle racists in the 0bama era. There is a very long history of rather nasty political cartoons in both England and America, dating back hundreds of years.

It's obvious now that the 'powers' have removed the link to the New Wanker's photo.
