BREAKING: Attorney General Jeff Sessions says he's fired former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, effective immediately.
"In fact, McCabe is all of 49 years old, likely 50 by the time readers see this, and what he lost out on was, as CNN much more calmly recounts, the ability to take his benefits at age 50, rather than somewhere between age 57 and age 62, and he lost his eligibility to a special top-up in benefit formula. These are, admittedly, tangible financial losses, but it is grossly misleading that various news outlets are giving the general public the impression that he has lost his pension entirely."

Don't know, that's a pretty big "if"
A more realistic scenario is that he'll be hired elsewhere in federal government, (offers already on the table, I believe) and end up collecting his full pension.
in any event - this is just another emotionally driven diversion by the comb- over-king.
Is it usual and customary to punish the family of the guilty party, in this case by denying them at least a portion of McCabe's pension, no.
The move to have him fired and to publicly bad-mouth him is the low-class passive aggressive diversionary act of the JOTUS.
We have a welfare system (designed by you socialists) that takes care of the lower classes and the families of convicts.. McCabes family is welcome to use it, if they can stoop so low...
