Except that McCabe will prevail and keep all (or 99%) of his pension after the media mob howls about him for a couple of weeks. No, it's not effective and it probably hurts Trump more than it helps him in any practical way. So, other than making Trump looking like he's petty and vindictive and ineffectual about it, this doesn't do anything to put any real fear into the federal bureaucracy. What's needed is a second special investigator to go after all of these people (including Mueller's bunch) with inpunity. That would actually inspire a lot of fear. Are you sure you're looking through the right end? There are quite a few processes that must take place between seeing the ingredients for a Thanksgiving Feast on the farm and kitchen counter... and finally cutting the turkey and dishing out the side-dishes.
