President Trump's plan to combat school shootings will include a push to put armed staff in schools and raise the minimum age to buy certain guns but appears to fall short of including universal background checks for gun buyers.
Theres going to be a series of proposals, deputy White House press secretary Raj Shah said Sunday on ABCs This Week.
The plan will include policies Trump has pushed for since the school shooting that killed 17 people in Parkland, Fla., including arming teachers and raising the age to buy assault rifles to 21 from 18.
Trump also supports a ban on bump stocks, devices that allow weapons to fire like machine guns.
Theres going to be a provision about hardening schools, Shah said, which will involve positioning individuals who are trained professionals into schools who can help protect against shooters.

The Shah of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave has spoken, Mr & Mrs America turn 'em in!
Who is this pinhead and how did he get into the White House, Javanka?
Ok, that's it, confiscate their phones and don't let them out of the house until they are 21. A new law is required, no teen can be supplied with a dangerous instrument like a phone until they are 21, if you can't take their phones, cut off their thumbs, there is no amendment in the Constitution to permit these people to have thumbs
