What the nay-saying morons fail to understand is that Trump's initial tariffs are a form of "negotiating" with the ChiComs and whomever else. They also don't understand that without domestic production of steel, aluminum, and other manufacturing, the US will not be able to fight its way out of a paper bag. Especially not against the ChiCom Monster. ChiCom exports of steel since they'd received Most Favored Nation status have skyrocketed 4-fold, while America's Rust Belt industries has been cratered.
