President Trump shocked his base of supporters yesterday when he recommended that police grab guns of those they suspect shouldn't have them before any due process takes place. He is also appearing to cave in to demands primarily from Democrats that more restrictions on gun ownership be implemented. While the shooting in Florida was a tragedy, as we point out in today's Liberty Report a recent university study has shown that school shootings are significantly down over the past 20 years. It is a largely manufactured crisis in search of more restrictions on our liberties: Poster Comment: There's no way that that NYC homo reconquista Trump is taking our guns!

That generalization is pure BS-propaganda, Hondo. Don't fall for the dishonest presentation of this issue. The Ron Paul Institute IS wrong on some issues -- this is one of the more egregious issues. You need to consider the context of Trump's statement... ...that is of course and UNLESS you believe kids/people who've been reported for threats 39 times SHOULDN'T have their guns removed. OR, those who've murdered in cold blood someone with an illegal piece (this happens EVERY DAY several times in Baltimore/Chicago with NO objection from the Left-Dems.) Look -- there are people with guns who've REPEATEDLY threatened other individuals. ON RECORD. Their pieces must be confiscated and perps jailed. I'm with Trump on this. The alternative IS an insane Gun Grab for ALL law-abiding gun-owners. I'M not going to be a political casualty of some Leftist-Dem propaganda and charade.
Illegal piece? I don't get it, why does it matter how someone's murdered? Being run over by a truck is no better to me, whether it was stolen or not. There's no such a thing as an illegal piece the closest to that is stolen, only illegal actions like murder. Being jailed for murder is good enough for me. Fry em after a trial! I'm guessing that there's about a 99% objection rate to murder, whether D&R, Independent, or whatever.

Yeah, it actually DOES matter how someone is murdered. It demonstrates examples of a Democrat gummint, Dem School System, a Dem LE and Deep State that don't actually want to current enforce gun laws OR ANY laws. You're omitting a bunch of factors. Premeditation and INTENT. People don't normally murder others with LEGAL pieces. Precisely because the perps can be tracked, and the murders likely premeditated. People who use LEGAL, registered pieces are likely using them IN SELF-DEFENSE. That said, if legal pieces are being bought by criminals like the Parkland Op, those entrusted by the SYSTEM to enforce safeguards already in place are NO doing so. They are NOT enforcing laws and protocols that are already on the books either. That makes THEM accomplices to murder, guilty of obstructing justice, and guilty of conspiracy to murder. Did you know that the Parkland tool had been reported 39 for threats?? The school and Sheriff's office dismissed ALL charges. He went online, pulicly announced his intention to murder. Did the Feebs step in? NO. Dude should have been locked up long ago. Tell me -- why was he allowed to retain his guns? Why was he allowed anywhere NEAR the school?? You're not taking the real factors, the factors that really matter into consideration: PURPOSEFUL NEGLIGENCE. AIDING AND ABETTING. A SCHOOL and LE that LET. THIS. HAPPEN. Ditto whether Newtown, San Bernadino, Vegas, or Parkland. There's no such a thing as an illegal piece, only illegal actions like murder. My reference to "illegal pieces" was to further underscore the Dem-Media purposeful negligence in ignoring the source of the majority of gun-related murders in the USA. (Btw, your "truck" analogy is a strawman, irrelevant to the issue. Though unlicensed Illegals ARE committing vehicular homicide by the hundreds if not thousands. UN-reported, and with virtual impunity. "Kate's Law" (murder-by-Illegal-with-illegal-gun) failed enactment in Congress. WHY IS THAT?) CONCLUSION: Most of these mass murders or daily murders in places like Chicago are committed as a result of Democrat-Liberal CORRUPTION, POLICIES AND AGENDA. Maybe you should focus on the real perps and "anti-gun" proponents behind the curtain (HINT: IT AIN'T TRUMP).
