His bed is located 10 feet from a light switch. He sleeps in a bunk bed 8 feet over the floor. He turns off the light switch. He doesn't use any contraptions ( wires, poles, clapper, etc.). Yet, he gets in bed while the room is still lighted. How is this possible? To: Liberator (#17) misterwhite's answer is actually the correct one. The riddle states that the switch is turned off, and the boy gets in bed while the room is still lighted. So if he turned off the switch, the room would be dark if it is dark outside when he gets in bed.
