Title: John McCain associate invokes Fifth Amendment to avoid testifying on Trump dossier

David Kramer, a former State Department official and associate of Sen. John McCain, used his Fifth Amendment right to avoid testifying before the House Intelligence Committee concerning the Trump dossier’s Russian sources, according to a new report.

In December, Kramer was interviewed by the committee and signaled he had details concerning sources used in the dossier. He was then served a subpoena.

However, Kramer exerted his Fifth Amendment rights and did not meet with the committee, a law enforcement source told Fox News.

Kramer traveled to London in November 2016 where he retrieved a copy of the Trump dossier, written by former British spy Christopher Steele, who had composed the document. Upon returning to the U.S., Kramer gave the document to McCain and later to the FBI’s then-director, James Comey.

But the FBI had already received a copy from Steele, who reportedly had sent the agency the dossier in installments starting in July 2016.

Steele was hired by Fusion GPS, an opposition research firm. Last year, the Washington Examiner reported that over the summer of 2016, the firm was retained by lawyer Mark Elias, who represented the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Some aspects of the dossier — like communications between foreign nationals — have been confirmed by officials; however, the majority of the scandalous allegations tying Trump to Russia have not been verified.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, and Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., have requested the Justice Department to criminally investigate Steele to determine if he was misleading about how the dossier was distributed and his contacts with media.

Is this article about arming ISIS?

You could post your own thread about it instead of trying to hijack this one in the very first comment.

An 'associate' of John McCain

What are Arizonans thinking by continuing to send McCain to represent them in DC? His voting record in the Senate, that is voting to support the U. S. Constitution is zero! Furthermore this socialists' persona comes across as excessively stupid, boring and inane.

Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.

He's a complete disgrace. His petty jealousies of Trump and his Deep State connections (likely based on very damaging information they hold to control him) have driven him to do this.

I'm not sure whether I just want him to die already or to live long enough to be exposed as the petty punk and Deep State neocon mouthpiece that he really is.

McCain, and scores of those who call themselves Republicans, are in the same boat with Captain McCain. The majority of Republicrats in Congress are traitors who vote with DemocRATs. The swamp must be drained in order for this ruined bankrupt nation to again raise its tattered head in pride.

Liberals are like Slinkys. They're good for nothing, but somehow they bring a smile to your face as you shove them down the stairs.

It's about Juan McStain who. among other things, armed ISIS.

But the treasonous Admiral's son won't ever be held accountable for that, either.

He might have been in on the plot but he had no power to do it himself.

If it was done (or to the extent it was done), it was Xlinton and 0bama that did it, probably with the CIA doing some of the footwork.

he had no power to do it himself.

He had as much power as the rest of the deep-state good ol' boys who've been riding the military industrial gravy train since before Ike told us it was wobbling along the dialectic track.

McStain is only Senate armed services committee chairman. By definition, he cannot give any orders at all other than conducting his committee meetings and scheduling hearings and deciding what to hold hearings about.

Hitlery had to sign off on any such actions to arm any militias, especially if they were obtaining untraceable weapons in Libya to supply the supposed Free Syrian Army. The CIA and others would have to sign off on it too, especially if the CIA had to staff the operation to procure and transfer the weapons. And the final authority was 0bama's. The Stain completely lacked any authority to give such orders or to do anything more than act as a mouthpiece for the Pentagon and military-industrial complex.

The Keating scandal doesn't mean McCain could command foreign policy to arm terrorists. He's never had that power and still doesn't. What the hell, if he did we'd be at war in 30-40 countries at once. He gets sexually excited at the thought of a new war. You might recall that rather famous map of all the places the Stain tried to get us into a war. It was all the continents and in many places on each continent. Well, maybe not the Aussies or Antarctica. But everywhere else outside North America, he's always ready to start a new war.

But he never has had the power to order any conduct of foreign policy. Like arming ISIS. He might know of it but he can't order it or authorize it.

The Keating scandal and it's association with the BCCI organized criminal cabal is all I need to know about Juan's crony "command" structure.

BCCI was most closely tied to Spook Daddy Bush. That was his wheelhouse, not the Stain's. Stain was too busy trying to figure out if he'd end up in prison, disgraced. And Stain was a junior senator back then. And he was loathed by the Reagans (who took in and gave a job to Stain's ex-wife after he dumped her so cruelly). Ronny and Nancy never forgave him for that.

BCCI was most closely tied to Spook Daddy Bush.

It's tied to the whole Military Industrial termite mound.

Including the tunnels McStain's Keating cronies were slithering through.

The fact remains: McCain never had command authority to change official or covert U.S. foreign policy. He was no doubt informed and consulted but he did not command anything.

The Stain has teased us with hopes of his imminent death before. We shouldn't let him troll us so easily. Still, the clock is ticking so our odds increase by the day. There's a happy thought.

Recall that Carter supposedly got a fatal stage 4 brain cancer diagnosis and now he's bounced back as well.
