Republican Rep. Jim Jordan: Paul Ryan has 'got problems' Washington (CNN)One of the leading voices of the House Freedom Caucus warned Sunday that House Speaker Paul Ryan was facing problems from fellow Republicans dissatisfied with his leadership. Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan said the recently passed government funding agreement, which raises budget caps by $300 billion over two years, was "not consistent" with the promises Republicans made to cut spending, and that Ryan's support for the deal undermined his leadership. "Do I think the speaker has problems? Yes, I do," Jordan said. He noted that Ryan entered the national stage as one of the party's top hawks on deficit spending. "Just a few years ago, he was viewed as the leader of fiscal responsibility in our party," Jordan said. "And now he presides over a bill that increases spending $300 billion, a trillion-dollar deficit, when we were so poised to win this fight. Of course he's got problems." Asked if this meant he thought it was time for Republicans to change their leadership, Jordan demurred, saying, "We'll have that debate at the appropriate time." J ordan was among the Republicans who voted against the package citing concerns over increased spending, and on the other side of the Capitol, Kentucky Republican Sen. Rand Paul railed against his colleagues for what he called "hypocrisy" on spending and held the floor of the Senate through Thursday evening, slipping the government into a temporary shutdown. Paul, in an interview on CBS "Face the Nation," defended his move and said many Republicans have not reckoned their calls for decreased spending with their support for increased military budgets. "There's sort of this question, is the military budget too small or maybe is our mission too large around the world?" Paul said. "And because Republicans are unwilling to confront that they want more, more, more for military spending." In a separate interview on CBS, White House budget director Mick Mulvaney defended the deal President Donald Trump approved of and said to get a boost in military spending, they had to give in to some Democratic demands. "They held the Defense Department hostage, and we had to pay that ransom," Mulvaney said. Mulvaney, who was himself a member of the House Freedom Caucus until Trump tapped him for budget director, also said he probably would not have voted for the deal if he were still in Congress. "My job as the director of the Office of Management Budget is to try to get the President's agenda passed," Mulvaney said. "And right now the top priority for this President was getting the Defense Department the money necessary to defend the nation."

One of the biggest problems Ryan has is the Freedom Caucus. The first order of business for the newly formed Freedom Caucus was to get rid of John Boehner. They did that and now they want to get rid of Ryan. Will the Freedom Caucus ever be satisfied? The answer to that is, no. It is as Rep. Adam Kinzinger says, Jim Jordan never misses an opportunity to slam somebody in his own party. In fact, I see him do that more often than he does anybody else. “We have met the enemy....and the enemy is us.”
That isn't true. He praises Rand Paul. Here's a nice photo of them. I saw another where they were standing together, thick as thieves, in the Oval Office when Trump signed a bill, I think maybe one having to do with coal but I can't locate it again. You don't have that much room to bitch about Republicans from other states when the biggest backstabber of the modern GOP and of conservatives generally is a senator from your own state. When is that old bag of shit finally going to croak? He got my hopes up by being too sick to show up for work the last week or so but I've been disappointed before. He's toying with us 'cause he knows we want him gone. I keep thinking that he's plotting to hand his seat off to his idiot daughter or to his son in the military but I don't think he can sell that to the voters.

That's a sad photoshop of a famous photo from the artwork for the film Reservoir Dogs. That isn't even Rand Paul and the clumsy editing to insert Justin Amash is laughable. This is the original. With badly faked movie pictures, that's how you're staying "on POINT"?
But Rand Paul is not in either picture. The guy you think is Rand is actually Harvey Keitel. The picture is kinda mediocre but that is who it is. If you don't believe me, just ask our own misterwhite, who takes his screen name from Keitel's character in Reservoir Dogs named (what else?) Mister White. Keitel went on to another iconic role in Tarentino's Pulp Fiction. The photo you posted is from the movie poster and soundtrack. You can see various angles of that shot from the movie trailer at YouBoob.

Those really are Tarentino's best movies IMO. The rest just don't stack up. Kill Bill? Some interracial Western? That crappy Brad Pitt fake Nazi movie? None of them hold a candle to Tarentino's two great movies. I take it that you will confirm that those photos above are of your namesake, Harvey Keitel, and not Rand Paul?

Sure but look at this one of "Senate Dogs". Just an ordinary pic of the three walking with sunglasses badly photoshopped on their faces. Gatlin, you really should watch Reservoir Dogs sometime. And Pulp Fiction. Don't worry, there aren't any libertarians in either one.

I have seen this picture many times without the sunglasses added. I think dark coat and very light trousers went out of style in the '60s.
That reeally did make me laugh.

Geeeeze....Those two are asshole buddies on the same mission. Rand Paul is the adopted Senate brother to the House Freedom Caucus. They spend more time with each other than they spend with their wives. Rand Paul does as much bad-mouthing of Republicans as does Him Jordan. Why would they not be pictured together....sadistically smiling? ... they were standing together, thick as thieves,

I have all the room I want to take to complain about any and all Republicans I feel like complaining about....and I will do just that. I agree with you that John McCain is one of the biggest backstabbers in the modern GOP and yes, he is from my home state. But that has nothing to do with this thread. If you wish to complain about John McCain, then start a new thread and I will be the first to post there and support you. So, I am not at this time dealing with John McCain.
