Lindsey Vonn had a challenging trip this week to the Winter Olympics in South Korea. The star skier tweeted that her plane had been hugely delayed, turning what is approximately a 14- hour trip (depending on the route) into a 24-hour disaster. Though she didn’t have all the answers, she tried to explain what she did know to her followers. She said she and the other passengers eventually made it to South Korea. And while this would be a difficult trip by herself, she had a companion with her as well: her dog, Lucy. At first, that was not an issue. But a photo of Vonn and her dog after the pair made it to South Korea tells a hilariously different story. Poor Lucy looks a bit traumatized from the 24-hour trip to the other side of the world. And then Team USA turned the pup into a brilliant and hilarious meme. Poster Comment: I hope this bitch Falls and breaks a leg... and if she isn't that unfortunate, I'll cheer for ANY country to beat this Trump hating snowflake. Even the Russians.

I think this is a phony meme thing. That dog doesn't look especially frazzled or freaked out. Almost any pet can look like that in ordinary footage. I think this is a phony clickbait meme they cooked up for publicity. NBC is so desperate not to lose too much money on the Olympics since they overpay to show them. And every Olympics has to have a handful of photogenic athletes for NBC and various merchants of athletic gear to sponsor. It's the equivalent of putting Star Wars toys in the MickeyD's Happy Meals whenever they have a new sucky Star Wars movie coming out. IOW, this is all a marketing ploy by NBC and Vonn's agent and whoever is planning to hire her as a spokesmodel if she does reasonably well in her sport. This kind of merchandising goes all the way back to Mark Spitz and Brucey Jenner back in the Seventies. Their sponsors were Wheaties, I think. Anyway, they were Jenner's sponsor back before he had his balls chopped off.

U.S. Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, one of the biggest names slated to compete in February's Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, took a shot at President Donald Trump when asked about her passion to compete for her country. "Well, I hope to represent the people of the United States, not the president," Vonn told CNN in an interview that aired Thursday. "I take the Olympics very seriously and what they mean and what they represent, what walking under our flag means in the opening ceremony. "I want to represent our country well. I don't think that there are a lot of people currently in our government that do that." Carrying a dog to Korea is like taking a meathball to Italy. Both are likely to end up on restaurant menus. In the entire history of the world,the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.
Hope there's no cops around - one of them might just "fear for his life" and shoot the mutt. Well, it is a snowflake mutt.
