I liked the article. The way I put this exact same sentiment in so many of my posts is this: "The question is: Who is to be master? That is all."
He mentioned French immigrants to America not tending to vote Republican at around 00:14:30 - 00:15:15. I'm not so sure. Still, he's pretty academic generally so he must have some basis for the claim.
Most of the French immigrants coming here are the French upper crust that lived in the big cities like Paris, and they reflect the thinking of the French "new aristocrats" that made the political decisions that have destroyed France. In other words,over-educated wealthy elites with trust funds, theories, and no actual experience. France will have to completely fall and turn into just another Shitstainistan before these pampered fools wake up and face the reality that facts always dominate theories.
Those the same intellectual-elite dirt bags who applauded when Pol Pot told them how he was going to apply what he learned at their university?
Cambodia is a shit-hole on the other side of the world, part of old Indochina. And remember, the Indochinese drove the French out in a war that ended at Dien Bien Phu. The French don't give a shit what happens to the Indochinese. Not their circus anymore, not their monkey. If Indochina slides into the ocean, oh well, what is it to the French?
You mean other than your/their half-arsed aborted/still-birthed communist cluster frack?
Cambodia is an independent nation. It is not France's affair. Pol Pot's killing fields are almost a half-century in the past, and France has been gone from Indochina for 64 years. Not our circus, not our monkey.
Not our circus, not our monkey. ================= "In April 2008, former Khmer Rouge head of state Khieu Samphan made his first appearance at Cambodia's genocide tribunal. Vergès represented him, using the defence that, while Samphan has never denied that many people in Cambodia were killed, as head of state he was never directly responsible.[27]" 88's a pretty good run for a French Commie. How's your cholesterol?
No idea. Communism is perfectly legal, and is a legitimate political party in France, as it should be in any free country. It's small, because most French are too smart to be Communists after their teens.
Oh. Well what was a Jacques Verges, the French Commie, doing representing Khieu Samphan at the Cambodian genocide tribunal in 2008 then? Were you busy?
Not my circus; not my monkey.
Which is it... "Not my circus; not my monkey." Or: "Not our circus, not our monkey." ...? Meanwhile Jacques Verges, the French Commie POS, was representing Khieu Samphan at the Cambodian genocide tribunal in 2008.

Well what do you frog Commies call it when you're saying something untruthful like: "Not our circus, not our monkey." "Not our circus, not our monkey." I believe the word is...humor?
I believe the word is...humor? You see "humor" in the Marxist Genocide Pol Pot, and others, learned in Paris. Others - Not. So. Much. COMRADE.
I see humor in a crazy old American man, on an obscure website, getting the vapors at another anonymous man, about France today, because of something obscure that some obscure East Asian did decades ago, that led to a crime in a faraway land that, while unfortunate, is also so far out of the range of anything any of us had to do with that it's essentially an asterisk on history. Of all the things to become obsessed about, the Killing Fields and Pol Pot's education a century ago strikes me as bizarre, and darkly humorous. It reminds me of a Monty Python sketch in which a fanatical evangelical type is convinced that fruit is the seed of Satan, and as an embarrassed reporter tries to get the cameraman to stop rolling, the crazed minister is evangelizizing "WOE unto the melons!" with spastic fury. So yes, humor: you're insane, and it's funny.
Possibly because it's so close to the truth of then as well as the truth of today that it bites you on your ass. None of us like to be called out and forced to face uncomfortable truths, regardless of who we are or where we are from. YOUR uncomfortable truth of the day is that the social conditions of the French elites are the same today as they were early in the 20th century, and just like they gave traction and aid to the ideas and ideals of international communism, they are supporting radical Islam today. It's like the stupid SOB's don't have a on and off switch. It is unfair to say France has been conquered because France never even bothered to fight the Muslim invasion. They just rolled over to show their tummies to prove they were submissive, and surrendered without a fight.
Hoss, NINE percent of the French population is Arab. NINE percent. And only 7% is Muslim. There are plenty of Arab Christians, and North African Jews, who have migrated to France as well. Contrast that with 13.5% of the American population being black, and 19% being Hispanic. How many of the agony aunts talking about the loss of France, yadda yadda yadda have actually BEEN to France anytime recently? Or LIVED in France extensively? WORKED there? Have FAMILY there all the time? Just me. And I am telling you that this idea that France is somehow farther along the path of societal decay and cultural dissolution, drowning in a sea of Muslims, is as cartoonish as VxH and his fears of Akhenaten, or Deckard's fear that the cops are going to bust in and kill his puppy, or that other guy's certitude that the Jooooooos are stealing his vital bodily fluids. There is no realism in these discussions. It's amusing. Truth is, there are problems everywhere, and France's and America's, and the whole Western world's, are similar. Truth is, addressing reality from a position of hysterical fantasies, like some fat woman gasping with the vapors, is delusional. And to me, it's funny. I figure that EVENTUALLY some folks will sober up and have a realistic, serious discussion of the problems, but the O MY GOD THE MUSLIMS ARE GONNA BURN DOWN THE EIFFEL TOWER TOMORROW!, when in truth they are 7% of the population of France, is heading in the wrong direction. I know that men are gonna believe what they are gonna believe. I do try to use a combination of fact and humor to steer things towards a reasonable discussion, but even the most reasonable posters here end up going insane over nonsense. If I had anything better to do, I'd walk away, but I've just gotta think that SOMEBODY is picking up kernels of wisdom in what I write, and that maybe SOMEDAY it will be possible to have a frank, rational conversation about real world problems using real-world facts. I do the same thing on a Christian website. Honestly, the God they believe in is an evil caricature. I keep waiting for reason. There's none. And the Taliban really do saw off people's heads over their ridiculous god. My humor wears thin. I need to go do something productive. Like pack for Algeria. If I don't get my head sawed off, I'll be back next week.
Contrast that with 13.5% of the American population being black, and 19% being Hispanic. Apples and oranges. It is possible to live with black and His or Her Panic people in peace. It is NOT possible to live in peace with Muslims. when in truth they are 7% of the population of France,.. And the only part of France's population that is willing to fight for what they believe in. Given that truth, they can and will win.

The French are always willing to fight for what they believe in. And they're not willing to fight for what they don't believe in. In this, the Italians are similar. Which explains French behavior in 1940, and Italian behavior before and after 1943.
