On Wednesday, paparazzi captured photos of Sarah Palin relaxing on a Hawaii beach with her husband and children, and wearing a McCain campaign visor -- with her former running mate's name scribbled over with a black marker. TMZ called the visor a "searing political statement," but Palin tells Politico that she was just trying to keep a low profile. "I am so sorry if people took this silly incident the wrong way," Palin said in a statement. "I adore John McCain, support him 100 percent and will do everything I can to support his reelection. As everyone knows, I was honored and proud to run with him. And Todd and I were with him in D.C. just a week ago. So much for trying to be incognito." Sarah!! UGH!! I had a feeling she would suffer from foot in mouth disease soon. There is too much hype around her- and too much tabloidism looking for a fall from grace. That being said, I know I would not be able to be graceful all of the time, in the environment she is in, but that statement she made strikes at the heart of this ,long time ,conservative. I throw a red flag down on the play. Ms. Palin might just be a very good Republican- but that does not mean she is a conservative. No way a Conservative could even choke out the words, *I support McCain 100%"

If THAT was considered "Foot in mouth," no wonder the woman played it safe. Or thought she was... Even her own won't let her win.
Lib~ I like her, I think she means well, BUT come on!!! I can't get all the way behind her just because she wrote a book. There are other conservatives who I would like to see make some movement. WHAT is with this standard that Palin is held to? Big deal - she wrote a book about her life. And she was well-compensated for it, as she should well be. Where's the problem again? There are other conservatives who I would like to see make some movement. I like Dana Rohrabacher. http://rohrabacher.house.gov/ I'll bet if one took out that same electron microscope Palin is examined with EVERY DAY, Rohrabacher would crumble under the scrutiny and be found to be CFR-tainted or just plain "tainted." Lets talk about him instead. :) Ok...Why is he a strong conservative candidate? Pro-Life? Pro-Gun? Pro-Sovereignty? CFR-ties? ANY pandering? Can he win?
I dont know about anyone else.. I kinda march to the beat of my own drummer. ;) As far as Sarah goes.. well, I just want someone who is a seasoned conservative. I think President Bush was bamboozled by the Dems because they have held those offices forever- and they saw his lack of experience.. and we should learn from that. So it isn't anything really against her- I just think she lacks time on the clock to be at the level of federal politics. She seems to get the people excited about a more conservative point of view- and that is good.. but as far as federal level~ Well, Perhaps I am just not ready yet. ;)
Nothing wrong there...That's why we're here and not at FR. As far as Sarah goes.. well, I just want someone who is a seasoned conservative. I think President Bush was bamboozled by the Dems because they have held those offices forever- and they saw his lack of experience.. and we should learn from that. That's just IT; I DON'T want a "seasoned" anything. No DC-Insiders. I want NEW. I want an Outsider. I want someone who is and represents We-The-People. Dubya Bush was a phony "conservative" and CFR-NWO sock-puppet. WE should learn from THAT. So it isn't anything really against her- I just think she lacks time on the clock to be at the level of federal politics. Seems to me "Experience" = "Corruption" which is why Palin is especially fine. She's had executive experience. Her fundamental and core beliefs are outstanding. 0bama had ZERO experience and look what happened. She seems to get the people excited about a more conservative point of view- and that is good.. but as far as federal level~ Well, Perhaps I am just not ready yet. ;) GET Ready! (or get ready for 1861 v.2.)
I understand the passion, but- but.... OOh..Those guys in the House and Senate have those positions for so many years that eat newcomers up for lunch and spit them. If they don't know any better they pick people like Karl Rove to *ahem* help them out...Like W did. Just go and check out Dana- you might like him. :) I still like Tancredo-Pat Toomey-JC Watts.
I liked Tank. He just has zero chance.
