On Wednesday, paparazzi captured photos of Sarah Palin relaxing on a Hawaii beach with her husband and children, and wearing a McCain campaign visor -- with her former running mate's name scribbled over with a black marker. TMZ called the visor a "searing political statement," but Palin tells Politico that she was just trying to keep a low profile. "I am so sorry if people took this silly incident the wrong way," Palin said in a statement. "I adore John McCain, support him 100 percent and will do everything I can to support his reelection. As everyone knows, I was honored and proud to run with him. And Todd and I were with him in D.C. just a week ago. So much for trying to be incognito." Just as funny are some of the people who think phrases like "I adore ____", or "I support _____ 100 percent" aren't politic-speak for "Bwaahaa!"

Good point. I can see that. But if she disagreed with him on policy, she should have declined the nomination. But if she disagrees with McCain's views, stances and policies, and still made the statement above, then like a typical politician she's lying to further her political career. If she does agree with McCain's views, stances and policies, and made the statement above honestly, then she is not a conservative. Either way, I can't support her.
Especially NOT even NOW. IF she does, people are going to claim she's a hypocrite since it's barely a year since as VP she was obligated to puke out McCain's agenda and positions. When the timing is right, she may.
Not unless you are about to start your own political party. Can someone ask Ron Paul if he is willing to create a 3rd party with Palin and Baldwin?
