To: buckeroo (#0) While anyone enjoying those gains this past year did well, it's not necessarily an indication of a healthy economy. There is still enormous debt saddling the country, and Trump has not yet seen fit to start to slash spending that must come with tax cuts. A more expensive Dow price came with QE that was instituted after the housing bust, and it was because QE money was pretty much being fed directly into wall street, and not because main street USA really saw any relief. Yet, we have clear economic signals that performance improvements are occurring under Trump's administration: as an example Apple has pledged to involve five billion dollars in USA infra-structure away from foreign investments. This is beyond, Amazon's five billion re-investment in a new second headquarters in the USA.
