Kevin Shipp, a former top CIA officer, says that Donald Trump is rattling the deep state to the point that they’ve demanded the media to just blatantly attack him. On top of that, they are so terrified of the president that the deep state wants Trump taken out. “Donald Trump is questioning the Deep State and the shadow government,” Shipp says in an interview with USAWatchdog‘s Greg Hunter. “He’s rocking that place left and right. The news media is terrified of that. Their editors are telling them to attack him just like they are attacking him from the inside. It’s just dirty pool because they want him taken out.” Of course, that isn’t all Shipp had to say about Trump’s attack on the deep state. The very people that have been attacking Donald Trump are now feeling the Trump counter-attack, and they are terrified. President Trump’s December Executive Order on “Serious Human Rights Abuse or Corruption” is a major way Trump is turning the tables on the people trying to take him down. Shipp says, “Donald Trump, very wisely, starts out calling it a ‘threat to U.S. national security.’” That one term brings in the U.S. military, the U.S. intelligence agencies, domestic law enforcement, and the whole U.S. law enforcement into enforcing these laws. The amazing thing about the Executive Order is now it extends to foreign persons, foreign organizations and even foreign government officials. So, this is a national security threat, which means it includes anyone inside the United States or outside the United States.” Shipp also says this is the biggest deep state coup attempt since JFK. Shipp also says that it’s important to differentiate between the shadow government and the deep state. “I differentiate between the ‘Deep State’ and the shadow government. The shadow government are the secret intelligence agencies that have such power and secrecy that they act even without the knowledge of Congress,” Shipp says. “There are many things that they do with impunity. Then there is the ‘Deep State,’ which is the military industrial complex, all of the industrial corporations and their lobbyists, and they have all the money, power, and greed that give all the money to the Senators and Congressmen. So, they are connected, but they are really two different entities. It is the shadow government . . . specifically, the CIA, that is going after Donald Trump. It is terrified that some of its dealings are going to be exposed. If they are, it could jeopardize the entire organization.” But there is some silver lining in all of this. Shipp also says that it’s going to be difficult to “take Trump out” because he’s got not only the secret service but private personnel guarding over him. He’s one of the best and most protected presidents ever.

An extra constitutional usurpation of power with no due process whatsoever. "Human Rights Abuse" or "corruption" is whatever a lone wolf gov administrator says it is. Let's pretend for a moment that President Trump is a Saint and will only go after evildoers like Hillary, Senator McCain, George W. Bush & Obama DGP*. Once this EO becomes established precedent, what would a President Pocahontas do with it? The Donald would be lucky to keep his hair, and only end up in Gitmo! *Drone Gangsta President The problem is that you have very highly educated, professional people manning spy agencies who spent their lifetimes rising personally and professionally in an agency wholly dedicated to war with the Soviet Union, and then with Russia. They really see Putin as the Soviet Union under a mask. They really hate the Russians and see them as a mortal threat. To them, Russia is an incredibly dangerous country - they're sure they know because they see Russian military buildup and aggressive Russian pursuit of its own policies (which is no different from any other country including ours). Instead of seeing them as a competitor, a rival and - in many places - a cooperative partner, they see Stalin manipulating FDR and driving for world conquest. Their whole lives have been devoted to this cause, and they really believe in it. And because they have deep intelligence materials out of Russia, they see Russia's active pursuit of its own self-interests as the proof that confirms their biases and learned prejudices. Obviously, then, anybody who discounts this Russian and Putinic THREAT to American SECURITY is either an ignorant fool or, if that person sees it but doesn't really agree that it is such a titanic threat, a fifth element - a TRAITOR! To these folks, to see Russia as another France - or Pakistan - a prickly and difficult but not actually ENEMY country - this is stupidity incarnate. They think they're Churchill resisting the rise of another Hitler faced with a blind and stupid world that does not see, has gone to sleep, etc. And they feel it's their patriotic duty to keep up the fight EVEN IF national policy and the national will is in the opposite direction. Are they willing to actually KILL our own elected leader? Institutionally, no. This isn't 1963. But they ARE willing to use their power and information to make grease stains out of the people around Trump, and to snare him in legal problems if they can. And there are probably unstable nut-jobs that some rogue Cold Warrior could push in that direction. It's a tough thing to deal with: a whole army of well-trained professional guard dogs, intelligent, aggressive, and vicious, whose enemy has gone away. It's not easy to retool them because they have invested so much of their lives immersed in the languages and culture of Eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. It's not simply a matter of reassigning them to the China desk (where we REALLY need those skills, but where the language is utterly different and the cultural reference points are all different). We mustn't be too terribly hard on these men and women either: they did a good job handling the USSR. We need to reward them for their service, incentivize them to either retire and move on to the next phase of their lives, or retool the Russia/Eastern European arm of the CIA for much more collaborative and economic developmental work. We work really well with British and French intelligence. The endless animosity makes us work a lot less well with Russian intelligence, but we COULD if the CIA were taken on- wing by an Administration that really had an economic plan for co- development of areas problematic to us (Central Asia) by the Russians. Cooperative ventures with Russia can bring the US and Russia closer just as cooperative trade with the UK brought the US and Britain back together pretty closely despite the Revolutionary War and War of 1812. In time, the old warriors retired and the new people accustomed to cooperative effort replaced them.

And the ones who survived the Soviet state hated their communist masters and were glad the state died. In the entire history of the world,the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.
That wasn't what I saw or experienced either time I went there. NOBODY wanted communism to return. The young people (then,not so young now) that would have been in line to be the new generation of elites don't even want communism to return. Most of them are little more than organized crime bosses now,and can flaunt their wealth without worrying about going to the gulag. The largest major industry in the U. S. is demogogery and holding office by incompetent soft screw-ups. The cities are full of them. The counties are full of them. The states are full of them. Our national government is full of them. Our bureaucracies are full of them. Any outsider who appears to represent the remotest possibility of change is terrifying.
