America, not countries like Haiti, is a sh*thole country, CBS “Late Night” host Stephen Colbert declared on his show Thursday.
Taking Hillary Clinton’s characterization of Trump supporters as “a basket of deplorables” one step further, Colbert called all of America a “sh*thole country” – because it elected President Donald Trump.
“Several of these lawmakers suggested lifting restrictions from immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and various African countries.
“Donald Trump, reportedly, said, ‘Why are we having a lot of the people from ‘s*hole come here?’
“Sir, they’re not a [bleep]-hole country. For one, Donald Trump isn’t their president.”
Colbert, then, declared it “racist” to want people with (what he considers) the wrong skin color and hair color – Norwegians – to immigrate to America:
“But, the president didn’t just complain, he offered an alternative. He thinks the United States should, instead, bring more people from countries like Norway.
“Norway – you get what I’m saying?
