A lawyer for President Donald Trump arranged a $130,000 payment to a former adult-film star a month before the 2016 election as part of an agreement that precluded her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump, according to people familiar with the matter. Michael Cohen, who spent nearly a decade as a top attorney at the Trump Organization, arranged payment to the woman, Stephanie Clifford, in October 2016 after her lawyer negotiated the nondisclosure agreement with Mr. Cohen, these people said.... . . . I know a lot of people will believe it coming from WSJ.

I think so. Notice the pornstar issued the statement that Cohen was branishing and it was dated 2 days ago. The WH obviously knew this was coming. I notice that Trump's lawyer and the pornstar are denying there was an affair. They did not deny that a payment was made which seems funny to me. Cohen could easily have said "there was no affair, there was no payment of any kind". But all he said was "there was no affair".
What was funny to me is the odd number and measly amount 130,000 dollars. Rumor has it that a prominent lawyer was offering $500,000 to one woman to fabricate sexual harassment claim. While another somewhat less prominent lawyer and a close relative to the first lawyer had another woman decline to come forward after being offered as much as $750,000. I would have to see more than a report from some an unnamed sources and a much large dollar amount than the contemptibly small amount of 130,000 dollars offered for me to even start to consider any truth in the matter.
I see your point. But maybe it was just a quick grope or a handy, not full-blown sex.
