(Video at link) On CNN New Day Wednesday morning, possible 2020 Democratic contender Elizabeth Warren was asked about the prospect of Oprah Winfrey running for president. "Senator Warren, last question. Oprah Winfrey for president, your thoughts?" co-host Alisyn Camerota asked. "You know, wasn't that a fabulous speech?" Warren said. "And hearing Oprah's voice and her energy and passion and her determination, it's inspiring to all of us, and she shows great leadership. And I am delighted that she's doing it." "I don't know" if America is ready for another celebrity billionaire president, she said. "Here's what I do know. We are right now in the middle of fights that will determine our future for generations to come." CAMEROTA: Senator Warren, last question. Oprah Winfrey for president, your thoughts? WARREN: You know, wasn't that a fabulous speech? And hearing Oprah's voice and her energy and passion and her determination, it's inspiring to all of us, and she shows great leadership. And I am delighted that she's doing it. CAMEROTA: And delighted she may run for president? WARREN: You know, that will be up to Oprah. I don't think anybody tells Oprah what to do. CAMEROTA: Is the country hungry for another mega-celebrity billionaire? WARREN: I don't know. But here's what I do know. We are, right now, in the middle of a fight that will determine our future for generations to come. The Republicans have just passed a tax bill on their own that gives away $1.4 trillion to giant corporations and to billionaires, and they are going to make working families pay for that. Right now, we've got the DREAMers who are on the threshold of being thrown out of this country. We need to be working on children's health insurance program. We are 101 days past the expiration of the children's health insurance program. Our community health centers, I just visited a community health center back in Massachusetts on Monday, and we were talking about the importance of keeping those community health centers open for all of our families. But that's the work that Congress and the president need to be doing right now. Poster Comment: Pocahontas or a simple-minded negro billionaire! Both need to be kept on a reservation! Either of these two leftists have as much chance of the presidency as Whoopie Goldfart! What would Oprah run on? Higher Taxes, Climate Change, Pay for Gender Changes and Reversals, Open Borders and pay for cradle to grave for illegals. Once she opens her mouth her favor-ability will drop to the basement where it belongs with all other Democrat-Communists!
