During a brief press conference at Camp David on Saturday afternoon, flanked by GOP congressional leaders and cabinet secretaries, President Donald Trump insisted that Mexico will pay for a wall along the United States’ southern border.
“I believe that Mexico will pay for the wall. I have a very good relationship with Mexico. As you know, we’re negotiating NAFTA. We’ll see how that goes,” Trump said. “But Mexico will pay. In some form, Mexico will pay for the wall.”
Trump’s comment came as he explained his stance on legislation to restore the protections from the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, which allowed certain young, undocumented immigrants to remain in the U.S. without fear of deportation.
The President stressed to reporters that any DACA legislation should include funding for the border wall. He also said that bill should address “chain migration” and the visa lottery program.
“The wall is going to happen, or we’re not going to have DACA,” he said.

At the rate we're farting around and making mythical promises, in five years we'll have enough new invaders over here so that Washington DC will be a Mexico City suburb. The 316 miles of new barrier should have been built by now. We don't need Mexico to build it!
The problem, since 2006 for the US Federal government has not been who will build it but how to pay for it. There is no funding for, the "Secure Fence Act of 2006."

It's become fairly easy (for us anyway) to discern red herring phony reasons like "The wall is too much money!" That of course is BS. Funny how the Dems found a way to approve $500 BILLION to Terrorist Iran, but feebly whine about the relative chump-change to shore up a border wall as a sudden fiscal issue.
Democrats aren't just simple liars, hypocrites and traitors; THEY ARE THE BIGGEST THREAT TO US NATIONAL SECURITY, THE ENEMY WITHIN.
Donald Trump is the determined, focused type of leader we've always needed for just this. According to HIM, the wall is very important. He ain't backing off this wall.
Buck, I don't doubt Trump's will to execute this. Like everything else he's accomplished thus far, he'll either give Congress a chance to save face and negotiate it out, OR just merely order it built.
Trump's will and determination is exactly why the Left and GOPe whores fear him and want him gone. There are no longer any sacred cows -- or perhaps few that Trump won't send to the butcher.
