The 6-year-old boy killed by a stray bullet in a shooting involving Bexar County deputies in Schertz was identified Friday by the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office. Kameron Prescott was shot in the abdomen and taken to University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Sheriff Javier Salazar previously said the boy was 7 years old, but the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office said on Friday that he was actually 6 years old. Kameron was shot while inside his home in the 100 block of Peach Lane. Four Bexar County deputies had been chasing a wanted felon in the area, and they opened fire on her as she tried to break into Prescott's home. The woman, who has not been identified, was killed. Authorities have said the woman had pointed a weapon at police during the chase, but no weapon was found on her following the shooting. Two other people were inside the mobile home with Prescott when he was shot, but they were uninjured. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said the deputies who fired upon the suspect ranged from 2-year to 27-year veterans and used handguns and a rifle in the shooting. I'm shocked! You mean the cops didn't have a "drop gun"? Unfortunately it appears the the heroes in blue in this case forgot that primary lesson. One day, Karma will pay those 4 deputies a visit, and deliver retribution !! I only hope it is directed at them personally, and not one of their kids !!! The article did not say, but I assumed the dead perp was standing on the porch, in plain sight, and was shot there, and that bullets that missed her ( or went through her ) went thru the wall and hit the child. Supposedly she had a gun, but none was found. Maybe those deputies should get glasses. They should also not be on a paid vacation. They should not be deputies ! Terrible. The police acted recklessly. They probably deserve to be killed.

Your concerns for "Officer Safety" have been heard by the Chicago politicians, guns have been declared illegal, and the peons have (theoretically) been disarmed. Enjoy your "gun free zone" utopia! All those shootings and deaths are for officer safety.
