Police arrested 31-year-old Rockville resident Rebecca Briones Wednesday on a charge of murder and child abuse for the death of her daughter Lissana Briones. Briones called 911 on Feb. 18 to report that Lissana was not responsive during a nap. Rockville police and emergency personnel responded, and Lissana was taken to a local hospital. She was later flown to Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in D.C., where she died three days later. An autopsy found that Lissana died from multiple blunt force injuries, and the medical examiner ruled her death as homicide on Sept. 25. Police interviewed Briones on Dec. 11, and she admitted that she shook her daughter and threw her on the bed. She said that she had abused Lissana three times before in a similar way, according to police statement. Poster Comment: Child Abuse. During one year alone, there were an estimated 1,580 children who died as a result of abuse and neglect. That works out to be between four and five children a day. Come on, asshole. A correct comparison of the rate of bad cops / all cops vs bad parents / all parents would need to account for the proportion of cops to parents. Certainly there are far more parents than cops in the country, so you would need to multiply the number of innocent people killed by cops by that ratio to see if the ratio of bad cops / all cops is less than, equal to, or greater than the ratio of bad parents / all parents.
The Donald should be busted for child abuse, for allowing his kids within 1,000 yards of the Clinton's.
