Forget the fact, that minsters, priests, rabbis etc., are secretly spying on worshippers. Forget the fact, that places of worship want their own police force..Forget the fact that places of worship are conducting ‘Holy Ghost pat-downs’. And finally, forget the fact that places of worship are paying the government a $100 dollars a month to spy on families.

Because now, Big Brother has convinced places of worship to install surveillance cameras to spy on their followers.

Big Brother’s surveillance of religions, would make the old NKVD blush with envy.

A recent article in The Advocate, warns that ProjectNola plans to install more than 100 surveillance cameras in places of worship.

“ProjectNOLA, an independent, nonprofit crime camera network, has been seeking — and has begun to find — financial support for a plan that would place such cameras on more than 100 places of worship…”

ProjectNola’s first phase is to spend $1 million dollars on surveillance cameras in places of worship.

“A key component of the partnership’s $1 million first phase is a plan to expand the nearly nine-year-old ProjectNOLA camera network.”

Every place of worship to have surveillance cameras

Big Brother wants surveillance cameras in every place of worship.

“Equipping every church in New Orleans with a surveillance camera is one of the goals of the NOLA Partnership for Public Safety and Peace.”

Just think about that for a moment, soon every place of worship will have surveillance cameras. Even Orwell's book 1984 wasn’t that grim.

Who needs God’s all seeing eye, when the police can do it for him in real-time?

Law enforcement will spy on worshippers in real-time

The above video, shows how law enforcement has been using ProjectNola to spy on citizens in real-time since 2011.

Church surveillance cameras, combined with license plate readers will give Big Brother unimaginable real-time spying capabilities.

It appears that ProjectNola, is mirrored after DHS’s ‘See Something Say Something’ program that encourages businesses and home owners to spy on one another.

As I mentioned two months ago, ProjectNola has been so successful, it appears that DHS has copied it and renamed it ‘Virtual Block Watch‘ (VBW).

“Virtual Block Watch is law enforcement’s latest national surveillance program that encourages the public to use surveillance cameras to spy on one another.”

Nothing says police state, quite like ProjectNola making $200,000 annually on surveillance camera maintenance fees.

What do ProjectNola and VBW have in common?

First off, ProjectNola was designed by former police officer, Bryan LaGarde who charged homeowners and businesses $346.00 dollars for a ‘crime camera kit’.

A surveillance network designed by a police officer? Nothing suspicious about that right?

ProjectNola also claims to be the largest networked HD city-wide crime camera system in America”.

And just like ProjectNola, VBW wants businesses and residents to purchase and install their own surveillance cameras.

But VBW has taken police spying to a whole new level.

Police are asking homeowners and businesses to install four surveillance cameras.

“Police suggest that three houses in each block have surveillance cameras and each house has a set of four cameras.”

“Cameras are attached to houses on each end of a city block and then a third house in the middle.”

Do police really need another surveillance system to spy on everyone?

Fyi, Nvidia is planning on turning police vehicles into 360 degree facial recognition cameras.

Please, don’t be fooled by whatever names law enforcement calls them. Hopefully, most of us know what their real names are, ‘Project DHS’ and ‘Police Surveillance Watch’.

Americans need more privacy not less.

It's America. Land of the free. If you don't wanna be on church cam.... go to a different church or better yet, start your own cameraless church. If there is a need or desire for a product, people will but it... you might get 6% of the Paultard following to attend your church (if they are all of the same religion).

Your over sensitized sheep feel safer when their church officials put cams in after all these church shootings... you imbecile. For me, if I felt the need to go to a house of worship, I'd be packing a .45 Glock... and I'd sit where I could watch the entrance/exits.

Wow! You really are clueless.

Gee whiz - kinda tough to do when the police state that you advocate is placing the cameras everywhere, even in churches.

So, when a private owned church puts security cameras in, that's the "police state"? You fear monger your AGENDA just like big pharmaceutical does theirs, as I pointed out earlier.

When a crack house puts up security cameras to watch for the cops, is that part of the "police state" too? There are more crack house cameras (quite popular today) than church cameras... why not bitch about those privately installed cams too?

More of your hypothetical bullshit and overall cop hatred. Why can't a retired cop offer a service to the private sector?????? It's called capitalism. Cops aren't allowed to open their own business and they aren't allowed the same constitutional rights as you... in your ramblings and constant hatred.

Nobody is forcing churches or private home owning drug dealers to install cameras... it's called free will. For you, that concept is a bitch when folks you loath in your AGENDA opt to use it.

Yeah - it's all about "safety" right?

It's all about a privately owned business like a church, having the freedom to install cameras if they feel their parishioners feel safer with them... REGARDLESS if a retired cop is selling them the service. But by all means, continue your cop hating agenda. You claim you only hate the bad cops... but you condemn this officer AND YOU HAVE NO PROOF HE'S BAD... so you LIE, yet again.

You just hate cops and you spread fear for your agenda... because in your tiny mind, the drug war haters biggest enemy are the cops... not the politicians.

Forget the fact, that minsters, priests, rabbis etc., are secretly spying on worshippers.

The nutcase that wrote this lost what little credibility he may have had with that first sentence.

Why the HELL would the leaders of flocks of sheep have to "secretely spy on their worshipers'? Has this cretin never heard the word "confession" before? Is there even such a thing as a religion where the head spook doesn't know more details about the lives and "sins" of their flock that they even want to know about?

Their followers go to their shamans and INSIST they hear all their dirty little secrets!

Hell,Russian Orthodox Priest was a freaking KGB career field. There were reasons for that, and those reasons had nothing to do with allegedly absolving anyone of their sins. It was more in the line of keeping a list of their sins,as well as their acquaintances.

You HAVE to be kidding! Why the HELL would anyone put up cameras to record themselves committing felony crimes?

Although I do remember one idiot couple of wannabe mercenaries that actually kidnapped a stranger in Florida, and then recorded themselves tying him to a tree to torture and murder him in order to "enhance their legends" when posting "guns for hire" ads in the back of Soldier of Fortune magazine.

No Bush. Cold-blooded murder on camera, and they took turns filming each other slowly torturing him to death with knives, and IIRC,one of them eventually shot him in the head while the other one filmed it.

It should go without saying that they were both arrested for 1st degree murder and kidnapping immediately after sending the ad in to the magazine. It's been a long time and I don't remember now how potential clients were able to review the video, but it was public. I even watched enough of it on my computer to verify it wasn't a joke someone was playing.

I never did hear what finally happened to them, but Florida is a death penalty state and these people were obviously nuts,so I am guessing they were sent to a mental institution for life after their court-appointed attorney plead the case.

No way in hell were they ever going to beat THAT rap,but IMHO,they should have been put to death and the money spent caring for them for several decades should have been spend on harmless nutcases with some chance of recovery.

Big Brother installing surveillance cameras in places of worship

Deckard, you really need to stop disseminating all this scaremongering bullshit….where you are continually spreading partially true, yet frightening and exaggerated stories. Your habitual tactic of purposely and needlessly trying to arouse public fear about an issue when there is no cause for concern has long since grown old.

What you are doing, and you well know that you are doing it, is posting your yellow journalism articles as a form of psychological manipulation for use as fear-based scare tactics since the articles include gross exaggerations and repetition to try to influence readers in order to achieve your agenda.

You no doubt know, because you consistently use it, that fear is an emotion that can easily be exploited and it is the one predominate instrument you and your group of fear mongers consistently use. This is evidenced by the continual flow of your posted articles using this tactic of scare over and over.

There is nothing sinister at all with these private property churches deciding to install security cameras as deterrent protective devices for their congregations. The justification for the desperate need can clearly been seen in the homicidal acts committed in the incidents in churches listed below.

  • At least 26 people killed in church attack in Texas' deadliest mass shooting in the state's history.
  • Man charged with first-degree murder for killing one personand injuring sevens outside a Nashville church.
  • Charleston church shoot left nine dead and three other victims survived.
  • There are numerous, numerous other incidents as the list can go on and on….I will stop here as the point has been well made.

There is no “Big Brother” movement here….none at all. To be sure, you and your group has overused this cliché so much that it has become trite and hackneyed. Christ, if you are going to persist in this mundane fear tactic chicanery….at lest get yourself some new buzz words. The “Big Brother” you are implying here is non existent and all there is are some private party entities (churches) contracting with a non-profit private crime camera system (ProjectNOLA) to use a system which is highly proven and extremely successful while still actively protecting individual privacy.

I of am of course not a professionally trained psychiatrist and I am not trying to act as one, but a rational person with common sense can easily see that your paranoia involves some intense anxiously fearful feelings and thoughts related to conspiracies. I believe that evidence of your actions, irrational thoughts and firm beliefs shows that they have become so fixed in your mind pursuing your agenda that nothing….including FIRM contrary evidence…can ever convince you that what you think and feel is not true.

I will close by saying that there is no cause for concern with churches choosing to install security systems. There is however cause for concern about you maliciously spreading FALSE scare tactics when the churches are now only choosing to find ways to protect their congregations.

Shame on you …

No, I would say it is something heartfelt spoken by a person who simply cannot understand what someone would possibly be doing in a church that they would be afraid of being known or ashamed to being caught doing….and would want (or insist) their action (or actions) to be held private.

That’s puzzling. With your astute in-depth insight ability to smartly see all things properly….can you please explain to me what action (or actions) it (or those) might be?

Thank you …

CLEARLY the people selling the drugs were using their own product.

It boggles the imagination that people would be stupid enough to record evidence against themselves, but when you think about it has there ever been a child porn arrest where the guilty party didn't have a whole damn catalogue of photos or videos of him having sex with children?

But if the object was not to stay alive but to stay human, what difference did it ultimately make? Do you really think that this will remain voluntary? You really think that the global government doesn't hate religion, especially churches that don't submit to any unlawful edicts.

You don't think they will be used to monitor the preaching to make sure there is no criticism of the government and then crack down on those that do?

This may seem far-fetched to you - we all know that you lack any vision whatsoever.

You're naive to think that this "can't happen here".

Christians Hospitalized After Fighting Communist Party Orders to Install Security Cameras in Church

Several Chinese Christians who fought back against Communist Party officials who ordered  churches in Zhejiang Province to install security cameras, which believers fear will be used to monitor their activities, are now being treated for their injuries at a local hospital.

South China Morning Post reported on Monday that the government ordered the installation of the surveillance equipment at churches for "anti-terrorism and security purposes."

Believers in the city of Wenzhou, however, who are said to number close to 1 million, see it as part of the Communist Party's continued crackdown on Christianity, along with the ongoing campaign to remove crosses from church rooftops.

"Government officials came to the churches and put up cameras by force. Some pastors and worshipers who didn't agree to the move were dragged away," one Christian in Wenzhou shared with the publication

First off, ProjectNola was designed by former police officer, Bryan LaGarde who charged homeowners and businesses $346.00 dollars for a ‘crime camera kit’.
Okay….so? Is the price too high, too low or is there a problem with the equipment.
A surveillance network designed by a police officer? Nothing suspicious about that right?
You are attempting to make a strong inference with you statement and open ended question here. An inference is defined as “a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning.” In order to validate the inference you made, you must now show that you have a conclusion you reached on the basis of sound evidence and logical reasoning. Please now complete your dangling post and do that….show the evidence and reasoning.

Thank you …

A church that sells its soul to Big Brother instead of trusting God for protection (and carrying a weapon which is commanded by Jesus) is not the kind of church that free Americans should be attending.

You just don't get it - you never will.

You will always trust the government to protect you, even if it means having surveillance cameras everywhere.

After all "if you've done nothing wrong, then you have nothing to hide", right Parsons?

Do you really think that the NSA won't be monitoring these cameras? Are you really that utterly naive?

Do you really think that this will remain voluntary? You really think that the global government doesn't hate religion, especially churches that don't submit to any unlawful edicts.
I have no reason to believe that it will not remain voluntary. Until such time that I am shown a valid documented reason that it will not be….then based on the lack of firm evidence, that is the only logical positon I can take.

I don’t know anything about the “global government” of which you speak. Based on the structure of your question, you obviously think there is one.

A [global] government is defined an organized entity that, in addition to having governmental character, has sufficient discretion in the management of its own affairs to distinguish it as separate from the administrative structure of any other governmental unit.

To be counted as a government….Repeating: To be counted as a government….any entity must possess all three of the attributes reflected in the above definition:

  • Existence as Organized Entity
  • Governmental Character
  • Substantial Autonomy
Please tell me about this mysterious “global government” of which you so strongly speak. Does it indeed have governmental character and sufficient discretion in the management of its own affairs? Where is this “global government” headquartered and who is the head of state? There are many more questions I have to ask of you, but let’s begin by you answering only those few.

You don't think they will be used to monitor the preaching to make sure there is no criticism of the government and then crack down on those that do?
Until I am shown a valid substantial reason to firmly believe otherwise, I have no conceivable basis to believe what you are suggesting will actually happen.

Can you give me a valid reason to support your suggestive thesis based on solid documentation?

This may seem far-fetched to you - we all know that you lack any vision whatsoever.
Yes, I confess that it does seem very far-fetched to me. Something I might think that only someone who place to much value and was brainwashed by a dystopian novel published in 1949 could believe.

If you are saying that simply because I don’t place any value or belief in wild conspiracy theories that I lack any vision whatsoever….then I plead guilty as charged.

Do your own homework Parsons. It's also called the New World Order.

These Clergy Response Teams have been in place for a number of years now. Their main goal is to condition the sheep to submit to gun confiscation among other things.

It's no surprise that most of the 501c3 churches are instructing their parishioners to love Big Brother.

Waco - Mt. Carmel.

The incident in China really isn't far-fetched. You seem to believe that the government is your friend.

Here's a little free advice - they're not.

...brainwashed by a dystopian novel published in 1949

Seems to me that you are the brainwashed one here Parsons if you are unable to see the parallels between what was written about in "1984" and the world today.

I seriously doubt you have even read it.
