Title: Police State Worshiping Cop Apologists Celebrate Death of Daniel Shaver on Facebook (And Liberty's Flame)

Phoenix, AZ —  In March of 2016, Mesa Police Officer Philip Brailsford was charged with second-degree murder for gunning down Daniel Shaver, an innocent husband, and father of two. The shooting was captured on body cam footage, part of which was released the following May. On Thursday, a jury, apparently blinded by the badge delivered a verdict of not guilty and the rest of the body camera footage was released—showing a cold-blooded murder.

Immediately after Brailsford was acquitted, police apologists took to Facebook to praise this killer cop and gloat in the death of an innocent father and husband.

How, exactly, people can claim Brailsford was justified in killing Daniel Shaver is a mystery to anyone who watched the video and is not entirely blinded by the thin blue line. The only possible explanation is a complete lack of empathy and ability to view Daniel Shaver as a human being.

When the victim is dehumanized—as in the case of Shaver—people can logically view their life as disposable. To see proof of this logic, one need only look at the utter lack of concern and care for the millions of children currently being starved to death in Yemen or the hundreds of thousands of murdered civilians in Iraq and Afganistan. These people have been constantly dehumanized by the mainstream media and their lives are seen as worthless to Americans. They are being systematically eliminated by the military-industrial complex and Joe Sixpack couldn’t care less.

This same tactic is used domestically to sell the idea that police are all “heroes” and they can do no wrong. This ideology is beaten into the consciousness of Americans ad nauseam: If a cop kills someone, then that person must have deserved it.

How else could police kill over a thousand people every year while most of society never even bat an eye?

To see proof of this mindset, one need only look at the Facebook page “blue lives matter” and the comments on posts praising killer cops.

“Omg with All the Police shootings, ambushes, etc etc . Some of You have the Audacity to Criticize this Officer….They thought this guy had a gun tucked in his shorts, as he reached behind his waist you morons!!! If you haven’t walked in an Officer’s Shoes, Shut The Hell Up,” wrote Mary in response to Brailsford’s verdict.

To illustrate just how dehumanized some of the public’s view of Daniel Shaver was, one person called him a ‘perp’ to justify his murder.

“Officer was right to fire on subject. Perp reached behind his back as though reaching for a weapon. Officer was in the right,” wrote William.

Shaver had committed no crime. He had perpetrated nothing.

Not only did the fans of Blue Lives Matter fail to see Shaver, an innocent father—who had done absolutely nothing illegal that night—as the victim but they actually thought Brailsford was the victim because he was fired.

Now give his damn job back with back pay!!! Another victim to Obama bs blaming the police for everything,” Clay wrote.

Action always beats reaction. Why is it only cops understand this? If he wasn’t obeying the lawful orders and was stupid enough to reach to his waste then he got what he deserved. Also sounds like the PD threw this officer under a bus to save face. Sucks when your agency doesn’t stand behind a good shoot. Seems to happen way to much these days,” another person wrote.

To the person above, sending a SWAT team to an innocent man’s hotel room and murdering him in cold blood as he begged for his life is “good.”

Notice how Daniel Shaver’s name is not mentioned in any of the comments, only the fact that he was a “perp” or a “suspect.” This is no accident. If Daniel Shaver is seen as an innocent father who had committed no crime and was killed for no reason, the facade crumbles.

To illustrate just how strong this blind support of police actually is, we can look at another post on the page Blue Lives Matter in which fans expressed their remorse for Michael Slager being sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Completely innocent,” wrote Steven. “The video doesn’t show the fight where the suspect shot the officer with taser gun leads that stick in his leg as suspect runs. If suspect held the taser gun he could have still tased officer at any point while running. Absolute travesty of justice.”

Not only is Steven fabricating fiction to justify Walter Scott’s murder but, to highlight the sheer lack of thought in the above statement, we need only point out the first two words, “Completely innocent.” How is Michael Slager completely innocent if he actually pleaded guilty?

Now, for the good news. Despite the Blue Lives Matter page celebrating the death of innocent fathers at the hands of killers with badges, a large portion of American society refuses to buy into the propaganda.

As the following post on Reddit shows, which subsequently went uber-viral with 72,000 upvotes, not everyone thinks Brailsford is a hero.

Bitch Cop. Upvote this so the world can see what a bitch ass cop pussy cunt fucker cocksucking murderer looks like. from Bad_Cop_No_Donut

There are undoubtedly brave men and women who put on that uniform every day and do good. However, blindly worshiping the police state and believing that all of these men and women are heroes and can do no wrong can have detrimental effects on society. The not guilty verdict for Mesa Police Officer Philip Brailsford and the subsequent celebration of Daniel Shaver’s death are two glaring examples of those effects. (2 images)

Immediately after Brailsford was acquitted

The defendant was ACQUITTED by a jury of his peers, fuck stain. That's how our legal system works. Nobody needs to "apologize" for his actions. He was found not guilty... nothing to apologize for. It's the system our forefathers set up. You don't like it, you unpatriotic fuck? Then move in with Ba ba ba Bucky.

It has been said the last thing in the world that Mitch Brailsford wanted to do that night was shoot. His goal wasn’t to kill Daniel Shaver and Shaver is not a bad person, but Shaver’s irresponsibly stupid actions are what brought the police that night.

A gun pointed out a window.

The shooting occurred after police were called to a Mesa La Quinta Inn & Suites on a report of a person pointing a gun out a fifth-floor window. A couple in a hotel hot tub told staff they saw a silhouette with a gun pointed toward a nearby highway.

Police determined Shaver was unarmed after he was shot. They did find a pellet gun in his hotel room, which Shaver used for his job as a pest-control worker. The gun had been fired inside the room and a pellet was in the wall. The police also found a dead sparrow in Shaver’s gun case. Whatever would possess a person acting responsibly and in their right mind to keep a dead sparrow in his gun case….who knows?

Police later learned Shaver had been showing his pellet gun to Monique Portillo and Luis Nuñez, two hotel guests Shaver had met earlier that night. Both testified Shaver had been playing with the pellet gun near his hotel room window.

At one point, while Shaver was on his knees, he put his hands behind his back and was ordered to put his hands back up in the air. Sgt. Charles Langley, one of six officers in the hallway, warned Shaver would get shot if he put his hands down again, the video shows. It is reported that Shaver was inebriated and at that point he began to cry and said, "Please don't shoot me." Trying to follow Langley's commands, Shaver began to crawl on his hands and knees toward the officers, the video shows. But Shaver stopped crawling and raised his right hand near his waistband, prompting Brailsford to fire.
The justice system works. It has been reported that since 2005, 84 police officers across the nation have been charged with murder or manslaughter in connection with an on-duty shooting. From those, 32 officers were convicted while 40 were not with the remaining cases pending.

And we must never forget, this is 84 police officers in 12 years out of the 1,100,000 officers who are diligently and faithfully serving across our great nation. But the way cop hating asshole Deckard saturates the Latest Articles section on LF each day with some alleged bad cop reports….anyone suffering with low intelligence may follow his belief pattern to think that every cop they see is a no good son of a bitch.

but Shaver’s irresponsibly stupid actions are what brought the police that night.

One of the byproducts of liberalism is NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS. Liberals pass blame on everything. Hell, they don't even blame a scumbag lazy shitbag for pumping a chemical poison into their veins... they call that an "addiction". As I've pointed out, MOST of Stones posting base have heavy liberal traits within their pro drug brains. It's what actually formed LP and LF... they were banished from conservative forums. They are not going to expect the sheeple to be held RESPONSIBLE for their stupid actions... it is what it is.

After what happened in Vegas, and we have posters here that don't expect law enforcement to shove the barrel of their Colt rifle in their mouth if they do something as fucking stupid as point a rifle out a hotel window? Haaaa, that's liberal.

Stupid games earn stupid prizes. Shaver won a stupid prize when a jury of 12 acquitted the officer(s). It's not a matter of me or you supporting the officer or apologizing for his decisions... it's about accepting our legal system and its outcomes, regardless if we agree. Anything else is SNOWFLAKE safe space bullshit. Tell the AGENDA crowd to find a safe space to cope.

Why should we accept the legal system when they obviously got it wrong?

The founders didn't.

That tattooed cop who murdered shavers has really evil looking eyes.

Evil eyes …

That tattooed cop …

You are right. The ex-cop does have evil looking eyes. But, I am here to tell you that you really don’t know what evil looking eyes are until you have seen the picture of Bucky posted on a Facebook page. Man, he has some REALLY evil looking eyes….totally GROSS looking evil eyes.

Furthermore, you are correct about the loads of tattoos on the ex-cop….it makes him look like a freak, the kind of freak I would imagine Deckard would look like should we ever have the unfortunate experience to see a picture of him.

I personally feel that the Mesa did the right thing to fire this ex-cop very shortly after the shooting. Also, if I were the Chief of Police in Mesa and this raunchy character walked in for an interview, I would take one look at him, especially with all of the tattoos and say “thank you, good bye….next interviewee please.”

Having totally agreed with you until now, I must objectively say that a person cannot be, or never should be, judge or found guilty by a jury of eight simply based on his bad looks. That would be the wrong thing to do….definitely the wrong thing. A person must be found guilty or acquitted on the basis of evidence presented and then only after careful consideration.

Whether to agree with the verdict or not….becomes a matter of expressing personal opinion. And fortunately, personal opinion is not the law of the land in America. At least not yet….although I sincerely believe some people, Deckard definitely included among those, are diligently working to have personal opinion become the law of the land. It at least seems that way….judging from the irrational statements he makes.

After viewing the video a couple of times….I ask myself: “Would I have taken the shot were I to have been in the ex-cops place?” I can emphatically state that I would not have. However, I can also emphatically that the cop correctly, albeit it perhaps blindly, followed his training procedures. What obviously happened there, obvious at least to me, is that he failed to tamper his training procedures with an application of good judgment and old fashioned common “horse sense.” These are things I do find sadly lacking in the youth of today. Again, I only need to point to Deckard as validation of this.

If I were on the jury and based on everything I have extensively viewed and read….I would also have found the ex-cop not guilty. Based on the fact that he followed his training procedures and those training procedures have not been declared unlawful. And if I were on the City Council….I would have the Chief’s ass for having such an individual on the force in the first place.

Now, in defense of the Chief hiring the guy….as much as it pains me to do so. Cop- hating bastards are out to damage and destroy law and order as we have known it from the beginning. In fulfilling their sworn mission and berating cops so much, they are contributing to the early retirement of good cops and preventing the enlistment of new good and better cops. Because of the cop-haters actions, LE is a public service no one seems to want to perform anymore. At least the good folks don’t. So what are we to be left with? Easy answer! People being hired like the ex-cop involved in this tragic event.

… A man reaps what he sows … ~ Galatians 6:7

If cop-haters want poorly performing cops like the ex-cop involved in this tragic event, then they must be prepared to continue onward to forever “reap what they sow.”

If they don’t, then they should STFU with all their blanket critical condemnations and go to work within the system to make needed improvements.

This is so plain and simple that everyone, including even simple-minded Deckard, can understand.

There …
