That some kind of spice for the Thanksgvng Terky? I could simply ignore this, but I choose not to because you were off LF for a while and obviously did not read where I explained something before in a couple of posts when I made spelling or grammatical errors. Therefore, I feel that it has become necessary for me to once again share my personal situation. I will begin by sincerely apologizing for any and all spelling and grammatical errors in my posts. The reason for these errors is not laziness or poor education. The reason for the errors is that I am undergoing major eye surgery and the latest was a cornea transplant in my right eye which brought the vision in it back up to a fuzzy 20/80. I am also having work done on the retina in my left eye where my vision now is a very cloudy 20/50. I can personally assure you that the eye operations are not fun and getting shots in my eyeballs is not something I look forward to on a continuing basis. But Ce qui sera sera [what will be will be]. There is more French to copy and use, Deckard. I still enjoy posting on LF although I am continually picking up and putting down a large magnifying glass in order to post here. This does cause me problems with proof reading and sometimes I don’t even bother with the large magnifying at all….I just key in the letters and let ‘er rip. So, I please ask for your indulgence in considering the errors you will continue to see in my posts. And if those errors bother you greatly, or you feel the need to poke fun at me for my handicap…then I respectfully ask that you place me on your bozo list….if that’s okay with you. I still have a great quality of life and while growing old is wonderful….it can also be a bitch when it comes with some handicap liabilities, which I am sure all of you will eventually encounter someday if you live as long as I have. Thank you in advance for any understanding you may have and for any respectful consideration you choose to show me…only with my posting difficulties. However, if you want to continue with your ridicule….that’s fine, you can of course freely do that. BTW the way, I personally feel I am doing one fine job posting for someone long past the stage of being legally blind. I recently had to take a hiatus from LF for surgeries and treatments….I expect to have to do so again at some time. I will close by saying that I used the magnifying glass while composing this post and hope I did not make any errors. How about everyone now giving me a grade for my posting here on this one post….with “3” being good, “2” being okay and “1” being poor. I will continue to try to do my best. That’s all I have to give …

It apparently did. Quite well. Given his 5,000 posts since to Deckard since. Ironically, all that squinting and straining at a computer monitor can NOT be good for recuperating eyes. A pseudo-warm and semi-fuzzy generic Season Gretings, Stone. Be it Kwanzaa, Festivus, Winter Solstice, or whatever Muzzie holiday there be.
