United States News Title: FBI Admits: Trump Dossier Filled With Nothing But Rumors Byron York in the Washington Examiner reported this week that his sources inside Congress say that investigators from both the FBI and the Justice Department have denied confirming any of the most explosive allegations found in the infamous Trump/Russia dossier. In interviews with congressional investigators in recent days, officials from the intelligence community have said that those allegations which outline a broad conspiracy between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign have not been corroborated, even though the FBI has been on the case for more than a year. This is unbelievably important, considering the fact that the Trump dossier, put together by former British spy Christopher Steele at the behest of Fusion GPS (an organization funded by the DNC, aka the Hillary Clinton campaign) forms the basis for any and all allegations that Trump colluded with Russia to interfere in the 2016 election. York reports that the House Intelligence Committee demanded in August that the FBI and DOJ send them any and all information on their attempts to corroborate the veracity of the claims made in the dossier. According to sources familiar with the matter, York writes, neither the FBI nor the Justice Department has provided documents in response to that part of the committees subpoena. But in face-to-face briefings with congressional staff, according to those sources, FBI and DOJ officials have said they cannot verify the dossiers charges of a conspiracy between the Russian government and the Trump campaign. Federal law enforcement officials have been circumspect about this investigation, but it is clear that the dossier provided the Obama administration with the impetus they needed to begin looking into connections between Trump and Russia. The FBI originally opened the investigation only weeks after interviewing Steele for the first time in June of last year. Furthermore, they used claims made in Steeles dossier to justify FISA warrants against Carter Page and other Trump campaign officials mentioned in the document. To learn that were sitting here, more than a year after the fact with all the resources of the worlds most powerful intelligence agencies on the case with no hard evidence confirming those claims
its astounding. It defies belief. Any reasonable person would have to conclude that if there was any fire behind the smoke, it would have been found by now. The first year of the Trump presidency has been tarnished by this investigation, and despite the claims of top Democrats like Adam Schiff, it would appear that were talking about nothing more than reckless rumor-mongering. If the intelligence agencies have evidence to suggest that there is something more to these claims that has been made public thus far, its time to let the American people in on it. If not, its time to admit that the jig is up and publicly exonerate (and apologize to) the President of the United States. Poster Comment: But, but, but Congressrat Skiff, from Californicate, says he has sold proof that the 'dossier' proves that our president is of low character. America has a fight on its hands with the Democrat CommunistsParty!! That is a fact! They obstruct everything that would make America prosperous and bring more jobs. Our economy would be booming if the Obstructionists in the Democrat Communist Party and their RINO lapdogs would get out of the way!! The Democrat Party is a subversive organization and the RINOs are truly America's enemies Comey insisted this dossier be included with the intelligence report! He used disinformation provided by the Russians when he himself warned about their use of it. What a poor example of leadership. His handling of the HRC investigation and this dossier proves that President Trump was entirely correct in firing him. They need to investigate Comey and others in the Obama administration for their attack on the President. Comey's actions reflect very poorly on the integrity of the FBI and tarnishes their reputation of being fair and not politicized. His memo to exonerate HRC months before she and others were interviewed reflects that he LIED to Congress about why he made his announcement regarding HRC. The tarmac meeting between Lynch and Bill had nothing to do with it. He and others had already made the decision to exonerate HRC prior to that meeting. The Obama administration and DOJ all were complicit in a total sham of investigating the mishandling of classified material by everyone involved! Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread |
