For me, it was a number of years back when we decided to visit a new Mexican buffet place. This is going to have interesting items, right? Well, no. The tiny Tex-Mex bar at Golden Corral had more items of more quality. Also, the place was rather expensive.
During the meal, my 6 month old daughter started getting a disturbed look on her face. Hey, but babies have that all the time.
Then she began to throw up. I don't mean spit up; I mean a large quantity of mostly mommy's milk starting coming up. Luckily she was wearing a bib with pockets that caught it. I was able to take the bib to the bathroom and clean it up.
We were almost done and ready to leave. They wanted to be nice (I guess) and offered us some kind of desert tostado. We didn't want it, but we didn't want to be rude, so we asked if we could take it with us. They said that it was a buffet and you have to eat it here. So we just said, "no thanks."
The place was closed within 6 months.
