To: Sarajevo (#4) I hear you S. But the VAST majority of "critics" love this drivel. Which is why I posted a couple of negative reviews, but to be fair I posted this one. But look at the rotten tomatoes rating, it's 87 which is very favorable. As a life long SciFi fan I'll have to watch it, but I'll wait to rent it once it becomes available, and I'll likely buy it if it ever goes on sale for my collection. I actually own, "Pluto Nash", and "Final Fantasy", and "Battlefield Earth", etc etc , because they are actually relevant and germane to the history and development of the SciFi movie genre, and to be fair if you turn your brain off, and totally suspend disbelief, they are kinda OK imo. But I agree with your point about critics in general, esp when it comes to SciFi or Fantasy genre flicks. Esse Quam Videri.
