A survivor from the Texas Church Shooting talks about what she witnessed, specifically how she believes shots were fired from the roof of the church.

She's obviously completely convinced of what she says, expressing complete certainty. But clearly she was also experiencing something extremely terrifying and extremely horrific as her church mates were getting shot and dying all around her.

I'm puzzled as to how a shooter could be shooting from the "roof" to the inside of the church. Was there an skylight the shooter was shooting through? Did she mean the ceiling instead of the roof?

The person with her asking "are you sure" was obviously not applying a good series of critical, objective questions. That's not what you ask when you want to get a feel for the reliability of a witness. You ask things like about the difference between the roof and the ceiling. Did you see the person who was shooting? Ask about surrounding details that are not important to the event but can give a feel for the soundness of the witness's recollection.

This account may well serve as a text book case of how potentially unreliable witnesses can be. The stress of a horrific situation can make people think they see things and remember things differently than they actually happened. The power of illusion can be enormous in these conditions.

On the other hand, if there's something to this, there should be more testimony and evidence, such as spent bullet casings in the gutters or on the church floor, and shot gun wounds, as I think she mentioned a shot gun. And how this alleged shooter might have gotten on the roof before the event and got away after is a question as well.

And without a doubt, there was certainly no need for there to be more than one shooter to do this kind of carnage, so why would anyone planning this have 2 shooters, and put one of them "on the roof"?

No, without more evidence is support, the best explanation for this woman's recollection is hallucination due to extreme stress, which is a very human thing.
