The FBI's investigation of Donald Trump's former campaign manager, Paul Manafort, includes a keen focus on a series of suspicious wire transfers in which offshore companies linked to Manafort moved more than $3 million all over the globe between 2012 and 2013. Much of the money came into the United States. These transactions — which have not been previously reported — drew the attention of federal law enforcement officials as far back as 2012, when they began to examine wire transfers to determine if Manafort hid money from tax authorities or helped the Ukrainian regime close to Russian President Vladimir Putin launder some of the millions it plundered through corrupt dealings.

Hmmm. Here I thought Mueller's job was to investigate any connection between Trump's 2016 campaign and Russia, not a 2012 connection between Manafort and the Ukraine.
Although I have to source to cite at the moment... (I just heard a news broadcast from the BBC) Meuller's indictments specifically reference transactions and activities well into 2016... FYI
Perhaps. But Manafort was lobbying to get the Ukraine into the EU. Nothing to do with the Trump campaign or Russia.
I understand the argument. Here is what the indictments are all about - Manafort has been on the Kremlin's payroll for years - he chose to hide the money he was paid from the IRS and more recently the FEC. He also chose to conceal the relationships he has had and the work he has performed to warrant such handsome paydays. Is it possible that he was paid-off for his "work" in years well before the election cycle? sure! But, let's be honest... this un-American acting foreign agent was working for the interests of those paying him - and now he's been caught. And his work included running the campaign of 45. This is not about his actions in 2013 it is about what he was paid to do in 2016. IMHO

Q: In which case, do do you believe 0bammy, the DS, and Hillary knew all about it?" OR were completely in the dark?? Remember -- you want to "BE HONEST," right?
How should I know? What a stupid question. If it is proven that Manafort and Co. worked against the interests of the people of the United States, prosecute him. If it is proven that Ms. Clinton, President Obama, or anyone else was knowingly involved in any way, prosecute them too. Don't try to involve me in your stupid partisan pissing match - I don't care. What I do care about is that there is a very real chance that our democratic process of electing representatives might have been knowingly f-ed up by foreign interests - that is unacceptable, and I'd hope even you would get that.

Mannafort was allegedly conducting a LOT of cloak & dagger business right under the nose of 0bama and Hillary as they were President and SoS respectively, and obviously needing SOME kind of clearance to deal with Russia (remember THEM? 0bama and Hillary ok'd the Uranium Deal, didn't they?) If it is proven that Ms. Clinton, President Obama, or anyone else was knowingly involved in any way, prosecute them too. Don't try to involve me in your stupid partisan pissing match - I don't care.
