W. Bush didn't remember where he was on the day Kennedy was assassinated. I've heard and seen this over and over. What I would like to know where is the original source for this claim. I think I read once it was in Readers digest. I've also heard or read that he gave different answers. Can anyone track down the origination of this allegation? W. Bush didn't remember where he was on the day Kennedy was assassinated. Bush gave some interview about 15 years after JFK was killed where he said he didn't recall several details. For instance, he said he was "somewhere in Texas" at the time of the shooting. Well, he was in an entirely forgettable dinky town called Tyler, TX giving a snoozefest of a stump speech for his Senate campaign which he cancelled as soon as they received word that JFK had been shot (it wasn't yet known he was dead).
