Lawrence Lessig / Getty Images A Harvard Law professor posted an essay on social media recently that laid out a complicated process he believes could lead to Hillary Clinton still becoming President of the United States. Lawrence Lessig flirted with running for president as a Democrat in 2016, but dropped out before the primaries. After Donald Trump won the election, he led a failed effort to convince the electoral college to ignore the voters' will and install Clinton. In a Medium post last week, the professor insisted it was still possible for the eventual Democratic nominee to become president. Lessig said the first step was proving current president Donald Trump colluded with Russian agents to win the election."If that is shown, then the first step is obvious. Trump should resign or, if he doesn’t, he should be impeached." "The second step should be obvious as well: Pence should resign or, if he doesn’t, he should be impeached. He benefited from the criminal (and treasonous) conspiracy just as much as Trump," Lessig continued. With Trump and Pence out of the way, the presidency would then fall to Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan. But Lessig insisted it was possible Ryan would appoint Clinton his vice president and then resign. "He should nominate the person defeated by the treason of his own party, and then step aside, and let her become the President," he argued. "I realize this all sounds crazy right now," Lessig admitted. However crazy it might have sounded, outlets like Newsweek treated his ideas seriously, writing a piece headlined, "How Hillary Clinton Still Can, And Should, Become President After The Trump-Russia Investigation." Only in your Paultard wet dreams. Only a troll would read this garbage, much less post and propagate it.
Most Harvard faculty are a lot smarter than this. Given that Lessig is often quoted as some legal genius, it's not bad to expose him as an Ivy League nutjob. You have to wonder how he is has such a reputation if this is a sample of his really lame thinking. Anyway, Ryan wouldn't have to be involved at all. First, win the House in 2018 (which Dems need anyway to impeach Trump). Then install Hitlery as Speaker, not Pelosi. Nothing in law requires the Speaker of the House to be an elected member of the House. Then impeach Trump and force him to resign. Do the same with Pence prior to him selecting a VP. The Speaker is third in the line of succession. Bam! Pres'dent Hitlery.
The left has some far fetched thoughts... just because they didn't get their socialist choice or they didn't get a RINO that they can manipulate keeping the left agenda moving left. They got Trump... a president they can't even get to stop tweeting let alone manipulate. Well, they're fucked. Too bad for them. They have just a few choices, unless Trump breaks the law... 1) Grow a thicker skin and wait out 4 or 8 years... like I had to do with that hates whitey urban zoo animal. I mean, COME ON, I was forced to endure 8 years of that race baiting, cop hating knee- grow shitbag... and I didn't riot. 2) NEATLY commit suicide (remember, someone will have to clean your filthy mess up, be respectful WHERE you do it). 3) Start working with Trump. He's the kind of guy that has shown he will work with Dems... but he does have a rich man's ego. You continually attack him, he'll bite back and give you squat. Personally, I like number 2.
This is pretty obvious. Work with Trump, get the Slimes and WaPo to stroke his massive ego, etc. At the very least, he'd turn into a Roosevelt. They must know this. And yet they think they can get more politically out of their Resist schtick.

Dems are idiots. They won't learn until they realize he won a second term. Then they will work with him. But the Dems are the losers because they won't see another typical democrat elected. After Trump wins a second term, we best get ready for a long line of Bernie Sanders like socialists.
