Title: NFL ticket sales plummet 17.9%

The National Football League is feeling the impact of the "Trump Effect."

Ticket sales since he called on team owners to fire players who take a knee to protest the National Anthem have cratered.

The online ticket reseller TickPick told Secrets that sales have dropped 17.9 percent, far more than the usual Week Three fall.

From TickPick:

  • 17.9 percent decrease in NFL orders this week compared to the previous week.
  • Last year the drop was 10.8 percent in orders on Monday & Tuesday following Week Three games.

"We have seen a massive decrease in NFL ticket purchases this past week in comparison to years past. Week 3 seems to usually have less ticket orders than week 2, but this year ticket purchases are down more than 7 percent from this time last year," said TickPick's Jack Slingland.

"While we can't specify if this decrease is due to the president's comments, player and owner protests, play on the field, or simply the continued division of consumer's media attention, the conversation around the NFL this week has focused on the president's comments as well as the players' and owners' reaction. As viewers continue to abandon their NFL Sunday habits, both the number of ticket sales and the purchase price of tickets will drop," he told us.

Yeah. It could be any of those things. And the sound of hooves could be zebras.

It's a total mystery why these ticket sales have suddenly plunged. No one can figure it out! LOL

Since 75% of the players are black, it's gotta be racism.

New polling FWIW from DailyCaller:

A new poll shows that the favorability rating of the NFL among Donald Trump supporters was nearly cut in half after more than 200 players kneeled during the national anthem last week.

Morning Consult conducted the survey, and the results are a very bad sign for the NFL.

They released the following data in a press release to The Daily Caller:
NFL’s Brand Favorability Drops To Lowest Point Since Morning Consult Started Tracking: The NFL’s net favorability has dropped from 30% on September 21 to 17% on September 28.

On September 21, 25% of Trump supporters said they had a very favorable view of the NFL and 11% had a very unfavorable view.

As of Sept 28, those numbers have dramatically changed with 33% of Trump supporters say they have a very unfavorable view of the NFL and 16% report having a very favorable view.

Dropping from 30 percent to only 17 percent in a week is a massive red flag for NFL management. Any smart businessman can look at those numbers and realize the league is now in full crisis mode.

. . .

Just counting those Trump voters only, this is a disaster. The S.S. NFL has hit the iceberg head-on.

DailyCaller is all over these stories (except the Raiders throwing the game story):

[Delanie Walker of the Titans of Tennessee] has some advice for fans who are upset by the team’s refusal to take the field for the National Anthem last Sunday. Jason Wolf, The Tennessean:
Don’t come to the game.

That’s the message a couple of the Titans’ star players have for any outraged fans threatening to turn their back on the team…

“First off, I’m going to say this: We’re not disrespecting the military, the men and women that serve in the Army. That’s not what it’s all about,” Titans tight end Delanie Walker said…

“And the fans that don’t want to come to the game? I mean, OK. Bye. I mean, if you feel that’s something, we’re disrespecting you, don’t come to the game. You don’t have to. No one’s telling you to come to the game. It’s your freedom of choice to do that.”

He's gonna eat those words.

Obviously true words but not words any NFL player should be broadcasting. It's another way of saying "I care more about protesting in my work uniform than I do about doing the job you all are paying me to do".

The avalanche continues to grow. It won't end well for the playas.

The smartest thing the owners could do is drag that idiot Goodell out, have him declare victory in the SJW protest against Trump, then have Goodell threaten and carry through on fining any player who fails to hand-over-heart for the anthem the full amount of what they are paid for that particular game. And include any other non-anthem protesting as well. No exceptions of any kind.

But I don't think they're that smart. At least, not yet.

Well, I don't know. According to a new HuffPost/YouGov survey, a majority of the public, 54 percent, disapproves of his (Trump's) response, with 42 percent strongly disapproving. Just over a third approve.

I mean, we're talking Huffington Post and yougov.com. Two bastions of impartiality and fairness.

I think the smartest thing they can do is simply declare that any player who does not stand for the anthem will not play football that day. The fans who are offended will not want to watch protesting players play, and that will accommodate them. They'd much rather watch a patriotic 3rd string running back try his best and not quite make it, than a protesting first rate running back score touchdowns. Especially if instead of scoring touchdowns, he decides to do stuff like drop passes because he's pissed at the quarterback.

Fining players is nothing, as players can suffer a $20,000 fine without losing any sleep over it.

It's reached the point where the NFL itself needs to take emergency action for the long term good of the NFL.

Whenever Trump is involved, I've started to assume that people are lying to the pollsters.

Try to explain the election day polls predicting a historic landslide loss for Trump, right up to the evening of election day.

Put the word Trump near any poll question and I start to doubt any results.

They do. But are they at the point of admitting it to themselves yet?

A few teams, yeah. The rest? Nope. And Goodell is gutless, leaving the NFL rudderless in the biggest crisis it has faced in many years.

So, blacks are in the process of destroying the NFL. I'm not exactly shocked.

Snip: King of the Zulus, Goodwill Zwelethini, despairs of how South African blacks have done nothing but destroy the once impressive infrastructure built by white South African immigrants and their descendants. But on the larger world stage, no one will talk about how there are no successful black-led countries in the entire world.

Black People Shame Themselves

… it is no surprise that in the absence of any healthy black nation — in the midst of chaos, senseless wars, corrupted religiosity, violence, and economic collapse — African and Caribbean people leave home en masse. They beg on the streets of Greece, prostitute in the red-light zones of the Netherlands, and make up 40 percent of the migrants flocking to Europe. As they turn up in these countries, helpless, unwanted, starved, or maimed, they are treated like dogs. … Everywhere from Ukraine to India, nearly every day, black indignity, black helplessness, stares us in the face. And all we do, we who hold the platform can do, is scream “racism!” and court the sympathy of others. __ Chigozi Obioma in Foreign Policy

I think that the incredible natural wealth and potential as the breadbasket of Africa makes Zimbabwe the most mismanaged black-led country. Of course, it's history mirrors that of South Africa.

I dunno. The 1488 stuff is a huge turnoff to most people.

You can surf around and find other videos there via direct loading.

Here's one, a takeoff on Back To The Future.

Back To The Faggot

In this, our trio travels back in time to Red Pill (awaken) the Beatles to stave off the downfall of Western civiliation. They get them to read Mein Kampf and the Beatles are totally into it. They return to the modern era where Beatles songs like Hey Jew have replaced their classic Hey Jude. With lyrics like "The minute you let Hitler into your heart, then you can start...".

I keep wondering how many people they think they can actually sell this to who are not already signed up to post at St*rmfr*nt.

I view it as a way to shift the Overton window to the right, instead of where it's always at, which is left of center.

Having a very far right achieves that, just having the real conservative right viewed as being the tea party means there really is no shift occurring, since the middle really isn't there. With 1488 type shit, the middle is the tea party.

I see your point but I'm not sure it could ever turn out that way.

I think the alt-right is folding up across the board. Look at how pathetic and weird Gavin McInness has become with his videos and his Proud Boyz (or whatever they're called). I think he is taking the Fight Club route to just coming out of the closet as a full-blown queer.

TheLibertyConservative: Cucked By The ADL: Gavin McInnes Institutes Thought Control On His “Proud Boys”

The great supposed comeback of Milo Yiannopoulos was last week. It all got cancelled because he failed to secure competent organizers for his 4-day Berkeley event. He showed up with some sad little sign, gave a brief speech for YouBoob, disappeared. Then he shows up in Hawaii some hours later, marries some other dude but will not reveal on camera who he got sodomy-married to.

And Milo and McInness were the two Great White Hopes of the entire alt-right.

So alt-right as a hipster movement is dying due to incoherent disorganization and the odd tendencies of its gay or same-as-gay leadership. And the 1488 subcurrent of the alt-right can be no more powerful now than it ever was. Any growth seems stunted to me.

Anyway, I just don't see a path forward via that crew. It is not widening or shifting the Overton window at all. And I think alt-right will fall apart in coming months altogether.
