A plethora of new polls, released just hours before Tuesday’s special Senate election in Alabama between Trump-endorsed, establishment RINO McConnell stooge Luther Strange and grassroots hero, Ten Commandments Judge Roy Moore, show Moore with huge double-digit leads across the board — polls conducted after Friday night’s rally in Alabama in which the president doubled-down on his endorsement of Strange. A new Trafalgar Group poll shows Roy Moore with a whopping 16-point lead, 56.74% to 40.69%, the poll showing the biggest advantage over swamp creature and 23-year lobbyist Luther Strange, who was endorsed by President Donald Trump. Similarly, data analytics firm Optimus shows Moore with an almost 11-point lead (55.4 percent to 44.6 percent) over Strange. Optimus partner Scott Tranter, as reported by Axios, was struck by the following statistic: A new poll released on election eve by Alabama-based polling group Cygnal showed Judge Roy Moore with an 11-point lead over Luther Strange, while a new Emerson poll showed Moore with a 10-point advantage. Only ten percent were undecided meaning that even if Strange could somehow capture all undecided votes — which is impossible — it would still not be enough to push him to victory. — ECPS (@EmersonPolling) September 24, 2017 Luther Strange, a former Alabama attorney general, was appointed by corrupt Alabama Governor Robert Bentley in February, whom Strange was supposed to be investigating for corruption. Strange bolted a press gaggle on Thursday when asked about the suspicious appointment. The tightest poll, performed by Gravis Marketing, shows Roy Moore with an eight-point lead, 48 percent to 40 percent, over Luther Strange, with 10 percent of the voters undecided. As Breitbart reported, Roy Moore has 25 key conservative endorsements, including some of President Trump’s most loyal supporters, like Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin, Steve Bannon, Sebastian Gorka, the Freedom Caucus, and several other leading conservatives.

Who is going to win the seat, a Republican or a Democrat?
I find it hard to believe the Dems could win the seat. However, even Alabama could reject the Republican if they really are too radical. Like how McCaskill managed, despite her 70% disapproval rating in MO, to get them to nominate Todd Akins as her opponent. You'll recall his remarks about "legitimate rape" rarely resulted in a pregnancy. It was a race that the GOP had a good chance to win and McConnell and the GOP Senate were furious that the Tea Party picked Akins and he flubbed it so badly that they had to endure another 6 years of a very beatable McCaskill. That would be about the Dems' only chance to take AL. But Moore has a propensity toward unforced error and grandstanding that greatly exceeds that of Akins. OTOH, he'll have some expert advice and he'll win that seat if he just keeps his mouth shut somewhat and doesn't say anything truly insane.
