My father dies this morning at 0514. I and my mom were at his side. Please pray for him and our family.

Done! My brother and I were at my father's side when he died. I sensed clearly the moment of his passing away. God bless you all. I'm sorry to hear of your loss.

Prayers up !! My sincere condolences ! Your father was fortunate that you were there. My father died in a nursing home, 5 minutes before I arrived. Only person with him was a cousin. That's not a prayer, it's a worship song from a Church of Christ composer popular with Campbellites, Lutherans, and liberal Catholic congregations. That's a standard funeral prayer for Orthodox Church in America. You just copy/pasted it without attribution.
That's the 23rd Psalm, as arranged by a guy named Haugen. We sing it at every funeral. I find it very comforting. It is a prayer. Psalms are prayers. Psalm means "song", you know. The psalms are songs. I offered it as a prayer to somebody who is grieving.
