To: rlk (#2) I saw a talking head today voice approval for the Jefferson plaque on the basis that more information is always good. To show my sympathy for the cause of providing extra truthful information at memorials, I supportively offer the proposal that a plaque may be in order at the memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to show that, his birth name, Michael King, was never changed he plagiarized his doctoral thesis Perhaps in addition to a plaque entry, there could be an audio listening area of the FBI tapes with the married minister bumping uglies in various motel rooms. And there is the end of the I Have a Dream speech, vaguely similar to a prior oration of Archibald Carey: [Carey, 1952] We, Negro Americans, sing with all loyal Americans: My country ’tis of thee, Sweet land of liberty, Of thee I sing.
