LF: Rock Legend David Crosby Shuts Down Ted Nugent In Just 7 Words

Ted Nugent says he’s not in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame for political reasons, but David Crosby says it’s because he’s just not that good.

“That’s the only reason I’m not in the Rock And Roll Of Fame,” Nugent declared in an interview with Albany radio station Q103 last week.

But one person who knows a little about what it takes to get into the Hall of Fame says there’s another reason Nugent isn’t a member.

On Monday, music great David Crosby tweeted:

Crosby doesn’t just feature in the Hall of Fame ― he’s in twice. He was inducted in 1991 for his work with The Byrds and again in 1997 for Crosby, Stills & Nash.

That’s an ultra-exclusive club with fewer than two dozen members.

He can barely even play guitar - in fact much of the early Byrds recordings were supplemented with musicians from The Wrecking Crew, a loose-knit circle of Los Angeles' top studio session musicians whose services were constantly in demand during their heyday in the 1960s and early 1970s.

Second - Crosby comes from an elitist family with ties to the military/intelligence network and the ruling elite.

I have no real opinion about Nugents musical ability because what little I have heard from him isn't a style that appeals to me,but he is absolutely spot ON if he claims his career was hindered and he was refused contracts and connections because of his political viewpoint.

Nobody would have ever heard of Little Brucie Springsteen if he had expressed the same political viewpoints as Nugent instead of being the leftist weasel he is.

But even if Nuge is blacklisted, so what? All it means is that he chose to be on the wrong side of history...

It also amounts to the wealthy using their privileged positions to restrict what the public can hear.

Granted,that might be a bit of a stretch with Nugent's music,but the principle is the same regardless of who it is "speaking" to the public. Nugent has as much right to be heard as that asshat pussyboy Little Brucie Springsteen.

Yeah... somehow I doubt that the SCOTUS will rule in favor of inducting Nuge into the Hall of Fame... It's not exactly what the Founding Fathers had in mind...

Maybe not,but who the hell really knows with shithead retards like Run DMC,Public Enemy,and other non-musical dummies getting in. If they qualify,it's only a matter of time before recorded elephant farts are called Rock and Roll.

I think Cleveland is past it's "best if used by......" time,and the whole rock and roll hall of fame needs to be moved out one night while nobody is looking. Shouldn't take them more than 3 or 4 years to figure out it's gone,and by then it should be settled in inside America somewhere. If more time is needed,maybe we can set fire to their river again to distract them?
