Antifa hoses down Trump supporters with pepper spray Violent clashes erupted between Donald Trump supporters and counter-protesters as two marches took over the Portland Waterfront in Oregon. Rally organiser Joey Gibson, who also leads the conservative Patriot Prayer movement, told local broadcaster KOIN 6 that violence was to be expected as feelings were "running wild." "This is the beginning, so a couple fights break out. It usually happens in the beginning, everyone's emotions are running wild." Videos online show the crowds from the opposing marches clash with little to no intervention from the Police force deployed to avoid brawls. Before the clash started, reporter Catherine Van wrote on Twitter that counter-protesters had tried to drown Gibson's speech with chants. According to the Patriot Prayer website, the march was a call to "stand against violence." "The more threats that we get the more we have to come out to show no fear. We will continue to come into Portland with a simple message that is focused on truth, love and freedom." The Portland Police reported they had made three arrests including a 16-year-old boy. Protesters had previously clashed during a protest in June 2017 also held at the Portland Waterfront during a Blues festival. The event, also organised by Patriot Prayer, was aimed at promoting "freedom and courage" in Trump supporters. The Facebook page for the June rally stated: "Fear will not silence Americans in these liberal strongholds. Please bring your best behaviour." Poster Comment:

The thing to do if you are ever at one of these things is to hang around on the edges,keep your cool,and ignore the front rank of the anarchists and focus on the people in the background that are giving them orders and organizing the attacks. Once the fighting starts,go after those people and hurt them. You have to be young to do this because they will be young,and they will be running away once the fighting starts. Virginia Governer Terrible Terry McAulliffe's adult son was recently arrested as an organizer of one of these riots. IIRC,he was wearing a mask to hide his identity. In the entire history of the world,the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.
