The people courted evil.
Their morals had run aground.
He came up with a solution.
He gave us founding fathers.
They gave us a constitution.
But morals began to fade
The evil began to creep back in.
And God was again betrayed.
They wandered up to the precipice, and some began to jump.
God bowed his head and shed a tear and considered giving up.
But He tried again, one last time… and sent us Donald Trump.
