Ok,I'll start this one off with the song that was probably the Eagles first big hit.

WOW! That one showed up in the review. I have no idea what happened. No big deal. When I listened to it,the sound on that one really sucked anyhow. I'll try this solo effort by Don Henley and see how it works out.

sound still sucks,and that's the best one I could find.
A little more music from that era,even though Uriah Heep was NOT know for laid back ballads,this is a great one. Here is a song my typical for Uriah Heep. These guys were,no shit,the best band live you would ever hear,period. NOBODY did it better up on stage in front of people.

My favorite Meatloaf song is the one above. I don't know who that chick backup singer is,but she absolutely ROCKS! I also liked his performances in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Maybe,but from what I remember,these two groups pretty much dominated the sound in the 80's. Even my industrial-strength redneck cousin and his wife loved Dire Straits. In fact I will go so far as to say their Brothers in Arms CD will match up against any album ever put out by almost anybody. We are talking about them approaching being almost as creative and as good as Pink Floyd. And yes,this is proof that Bono sometimes does stuff other than pose as a spokes model for stupid.
If that's who was singing that duet with Meatloaf,you ain't just a-whoofin'! She matches him note for note and energy output for energy output. Which ain't easy to do. Look at her facial expressions and body movements,too. I think she would be one hell ofa powerful actress.

BTW,this guy had some big hits in the 80's,too. Embedding is disabled for the video below,but it's well worth going to the link to watch. One of my all time favorite music videos,and there is plenty of eye candy for both men and women. It is impossible to watch that movie and not be smiling when the credits roll.
