United States News Title: Cops Raid Wrong Home, Assault Pregnant Mom in Front of Her Toddler Sacramento, CA — A pregnant Sacramento woman may lose her baby after police mistakenly entered her apartment, and threw her to the ground thinking their suspect had entered her domicile. Already facing a “high-risk” pregnancy, Zityrua Abraham’s chances of delivering a healthy baby were made worse when Sacramento police officers took her and allegedly threw her to the ground on top of her stomach. And I told them. I have high risk. I could lose my kid. They didn’t care about that. They still was doing what they were doing, She and her family were outside their apartment, and Abraham noticed the police, but all of a sudden they came rushing in. She said the person they were really looking for was in an adjacent building. Nevertheless, she attempted to tell the police that she had an 18-month old child sleeping in the bedroom. However, according to Abraham, they didn’t care. After one of the officers used an arm bar to take her to the ground, throwing her on her stomach, she’s been having contractions. “The doctor said the way that I landed, my body twisted the wrong way ’cause my left side hurts, and I landed all right here on my right side,” she said. According to Fox News 40, neighbor Robert Carpenter witnessed the assault on her home and her person. “She came this way, the officer grabbed her by her arm and dropped her and where did she land, she landed on her stomach right here, and she rolled over,” he said. Police officers told her that her mother’s boyfriend looked like a car thief suspect they were pursuing but that has not been confirmed. Her mother’s boyfriend had entered their apartment to get a glass of water just before police stormed in after him. Making matters worse for Abraham, when police entered her apartment they kicked down the door and did not fix it. Luckily, however, neighbors were more helpful than police and actually nailed the frame back together while she was in the hospital. Abraham is now calling them out for the way they treated her and her property. She told reporters: How they did that was messy to me. Um, you’re supposed to have everything in order. You’re supposed to have a photo of the suspect, they couldn’t tell me that. I asked if there was probable cause, they couldn’t tell me that. Officer Matt McPhail with the Sacramento Police Department confirmed the altercation and confusion at Abraham’s address without accepting any responsibility. Even though Abraham has a list of names and badge numbers of police officers involved in the incursion, McPhail reportedly said her claims were not “substantive.” That is at least until the health of her baby is confirmed. There once was a time in America when a person could have been charged with homicide for the willful actions of someone leading to the death of an unborn child. All of this raises one important question. If the unborn baby dies, does that mean those officers committed murder? It wouldn’t be the first time police killed someone after breaking and entering the wrong house. Sometimes, citizens fight back by sending a hail of bullets in the direction of the intruders. As TFTP’s Matt Agorist wrote in 2014, Adrian Perryman was found not guilty after police carried out a “no-knock” raid on his home. He’d been broken into before, and fired at his intruders. It turned out they were police. However, Perryman unloaded his weapon at them before realizing they were the boys in blue. He was apologetic but was charged and tried nonetheless. Abraham will likely sue, and the jury will probably find her claims substantive despite what Sacramento PD concludes when and if they conduct their own internal investigation. Well, I guess a pregnant woman made them " in fear for their lives " Maybe they can get a group of local Cub Scouts to give them a class in basic land navigation. The "Hero's" seem to have a big problem getting to the correct address.
