“Muslim believers know very well that their birthrate is such that today, they call it … the Great Replacement, they tell you in a very calm, very positive way that, ‘one day all this, it will be ours’,” he said.

The concept of the Great Replacement was coined in 2010 in a speech given by Camus and then later in his 2011 political book, The Great Replacement. Camus defined the Great Replacement as the transition of a society, often through mass migration, in a few generations in which the names of places remain the same but the people and their values totally change.

Camus called the current mass migration policies in Europe the biggest shift in peoples and their values since the barbarian invasions in the third century which led to the collapse of the Western Roman Empire.

Archbishop of Strasbourg Luc Ravel (Youtube)

In recent years, the term has become more commonplace in French political dialogue. Many in the anti-mass migration Front National have adopted the term as well as conservatives like Gaullist politician Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, who allied with FN leader Marine Le Pen during the presidential campaign.

Mayor of Béziers Robert Ménard also used the term earlier this year when referring to the high number of Muslim students in the city’s schools. A court fined Mayor Ménard 2,000 euros for his comments after finding him guilty of “hate speech”.

The anti-mass migration Identitarian youth movement is also an advocate of Camus’ theory and uses it as a basis for their rejection of the open borders policies of those on the left. The group, known for their often spectacular protest actions, are currently organising their own search and rescue (SAR) mission in the Mediterranean Sea labelled “Defend Europe” where they say they will work with the Libyan coastguard to monitor migrant rescue NGOs.

The pro-migrant NGOs have been accused by Italian prosecutors of conspiring with people smugglers and the Identitarians say they will use their own ship to track the NGOs and document any evidence of collusion with the smugglers. (2 images)

‘Muslims Calmly Tell You France Will Be Theirs One Day’

The way things have been going in Europe, it's a certainty.

The way things have been going in Europe, it's a certainty.

No just Europe: the entire white world. There is no white country that has a birth rate of whites at replacement. But they all have immigrant or non-white birth rates well above replacement.

In Europe, generically, it's Muslims.

In America, generically, it's Hispanics (with Asians also constituting a steadily larger piece of the pie). Blacks are holding their own, neither increasing nor decreasing.

Whites are imploding.

This is driven by the economics of birth control. Because there is no effort, anywhere, to address that fact, or even to acknowledge it as a reality, there is no hope and the whole white world will be lost as a white world. Whites will be a minority in all countries in a century or so.

This is driven by the economics of birth control.

It's not birth control per se. I say it's economics. Specifically, high taxation in developed countries causes birth rates to decline. And in developed countries, high taxation is the economic norm, which is why in undeveloped countries, birth rates are higher.

Works like this: High taxes means it's harder for a single income to provide for a family. This creates a motive for wives to enter the labor force. More women in the work force means less motivation to have children.

Since the 60's tax rates in the US have exploded, and as we know, in Europe they are been high for a long time. This has suppressed the birth rate of Europeans.

Muslim countries generally prohibit women from having careers, sometimes outright, other times less so, but because of that they will have more children than women in developed countries. Economically, these Muslim countries suck, as they are less productive as they could be without women in the labor force. But one could think of these countries as making a capital investment: They sacrifice present day economics to invest in population growth, which will pay dividends in the future.

Americans & Europeans are not willing to make that investment. The political will is instead sapping the people of their present productivity to have things like massive health care systems, social programs and military defense. Few seems to realize the cost it will incur to the cultural future of the developed world.

I agree that it's economics, but not taxation as such. Taxation is merely part of the pressure that has come to bear on families. Inflation has driven up the cost of living, and the loss of manufacturing jobs to the third world due to free trade agreements has vastly increased the instability of the middle and working classes. They choose to have fewer babies.

Also, the sexual mores of the country have changed. Marriage is in perdition, and sex is primarily for entertainment, not procreation. The result is fewer babies. I agree that taxation plays a role, but we should be clear that France, Denmark and Sweden, all of which have higher tax rates than the US, also have (slightly) higher white birth rates because they have a lot more social services for families with children, which significantly offsets the anxieties of having them.

Of course because people there are just not settling down to marry there, for other reasons not related to economics or taxes, but to the general desire not to be tied down in a permanent contract that, to more and more, seems archaic and pointless.

I think you are both right. It is not taxation per se, it is the cultural change in family life. Feminism predated high taxation, and Rosie the Riveter did as much to change women's expectations of income independence as taxation. All of which would be for naught if birth control didn't exist.

Not to say that it is wrong for women to work. Women have always worked, always played a role economically that was as important as men's work. The household was an industry in itself, and women produced goods -- clothing, pottery, flour, prepared food, etc. -- for others as well as their families.

When I began advocating for corporate daycare back in the '80s, after reading about the campus at SAS Institute Inc., I was puzzled as to why such an obvious productivity enhancing innovation was not adopted, er, broadly. It was because of the population control agenda. The influential foundations did not support family friendly workplaces because their goal was to discourage family formation.

The high birthrate cultures of today are in the crosshairs now, as we were in the last century. Hispanic entertainment media is relentlessly sexualized and dripping with bling. Driving them north via repeated banking whipsaws was as much about a coup de grace for our lower economic families as it was to accelerate their westernization. Muslims had prohibited western media and influence so they were bombed to refugee status, having the same effect on European families. I expect some sort of crackdown on family size for the poor, probably through welfare restrictions.

The question is: Will migrant populations "westernize", with women joining the workforce and bearing fewer children, or will their culture prove more resilient? That I can't predict, but I will venture a guess that if they are resistant then more law will be employed to make cultural independence difficult. Laws limiting the number of residents per s.f. in a domicile to prevent multiple families sharing expenses as both the Hispanics and Muslims do now. Laws barring homeschooling to force children to be acculturated by the state. Perhaps even laws prohibiting entertainment media from representing "hate" or "discriminatory" portrayals, and certainly said media will portray women at home raising children as unfortunate or worse, and women with jobs as happy and worthy. Men will not escape the media bombardment. Sex turned American men after WWI and the changes in cultural expectations were firmly in place by the time Playboy came out after WWII.

Given the successful remaking of western culture over the last 100 years, it is not out of the question that the modern mixed cultures will take on the structure of the host culture, while retaining superficial trappings. "Reform" mosques will take their place right next to reform synagogues and mega-churches.
