Greenland just broke the record for the coldest July day ever recorded in the Northern Hemisphere at -33C. But as Tony Heller notes, what’s even more interesting than the temperature record is the way the climate alarmists have tried to spin it. In fact they lie. Almost all Greenland’s surface is gaining ice. In fact, says Heller, Greenland has gained a near record amount of ice this year, and the ice is melting very slowly. It’s hard not to agree with his conclusion: Climate science is not a science. It is a criminal venture intended to extort money from the public. Whatever they are doing, has nothing to do with science.

If it's that cold there,what is that guy doing walking around with no coat or hat?
In the entire history of the world,the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.
I find it hard to believe there are any squirrels in the Arctic. . . . Shows what I know about the Great White North. Wikipedia does have a page on Arctic ground squirrels. Here's one eating a mushroom.

Yep, ground squirrels. And rare in that they hibernate. During hibernation, its brain temperature drops to just above freezing, its core body temperature reaches temperatures down to -2.9 °C[11] and its heart rate drops to ~1BPM. Peripheral, colonic, and blood temperatures become subzero. The Arctic ground squirrel hibernates over winter from early August to late April in adult females and from late September to early April for adult males,[12] at which time it can reduce its body temperatures from 37 °C (99 °F) to as little as −3 °C (27 °F).[13] In the warmer months, the squirrel is active during the day time. Well, hibernation is an interesting habit. The rest of its body can drop up to 5 degrees below 0 and stay there with only their brain remaining above freezing. You have to be tough as hell in the Arctic.
I have news for you, you have to be as tough as hell elsewhere, could you believe -7C the other morning and this is ongoing, and I can tell you, my hamstring is screaming

In the summer it forages for tundra plants, seeds, and fruit to increase body fat for its winter hibernation. By late summer the male Arctic ground squirrel begins to store food in its burrow so that in the spring[10] it will have edible food until the new vegetation has grown. The burrows are lined with lichens, leaves, and muskox hair.
